Stop the Belo Monte Monster Dam, by sal on Feb 9, 2012 1:25:33 GMT 1, saw this on Facebook 1st, did a bit of google research, and thought I'd share it with everyone here...
"The chief Raoni cries when he learns that brazilian president Dilma, has given approval to build a huge hydroelectric plant (the third largest in the world). It is the death sentence for all the people near the river because the dam will flood 400,000 hectares of forest. More than 40,000 Indians will have to find another place to live. The natural habitat destruction, deforestation and the disappearance of many species is a fact."

His work is beautiful...any idea on prints/OG's etc and from where??

I watched a video only this weekend that looked at the pharma benefits of the Amazon jungle and how its hardly been looked at...8 sickly westerners went to a jungle clinic where they lived for 2 weeks being treated by indians using "jungle medicine"and how they benefitted from their care. It was called The Sacred Science.
