Mint print.
Oversized brown paper. After figuring out the correct way to roll the print, position it centre on top of the bottom edge
Tissue paper on top to protect the surface of the print.
Rolled.
Tubed. Minimum wall thickness: 3mm.
The only way this example is incurring damage is if the tube is crushed during transit.

Dummies Guide To Packing A Print, by jusdeep on Oct 8, 2011 19:08:28 GMT 1, To save damage during transit it is always wise to have more length at either end of the tube and have the print rolled and fastened with a smaller diameter than the tube. Then held in place with either bubble wrap or tissue paper at either end. The result of this is the print stays put floating in the tube, any end damage will be cushioned by the extra length of brown paper and padding and any tube damage and subsequent print damage kept to a minimum as it's not touching the outer tube.
A very good guide I wish more people would follow can be found on this linkโฆ www.cinemasterpieces.com/packaginghowto.htm

Dummies Guide To Packing A Print, by pcant on Oct 9, 2011 5:59:17 GMT 1, Ever since I got a print from Black Rat Press I've been copying their method of using little corner pockets to secure the print in the middle of the paper it's rolled in. (I actually cut the corners off two envelopes and tape them down in the right place). This keeps the print from sliding to either end of the tube and getting crinkled.
