Just had a delivery......... VERY HAPPY!!!!!!, by rockhopper on Dec 7, 2012 22:39:16 GMT 1, Outsiders write: 'Monotype print with hand-painting' May I know what a Monotype print is Is it a glicee? Thanks BTW: great piece of artwork!
Not 100% sure. Monotype refers to a now obsolete method of type setting, generaly used to print newspapers. Therefore I would suggest this is a letterpress (relief) image with had finishing. It definitely is not a glicee.

Just had a delivery......... VERY HAPPY!!!!!!, by The Origin on Dec 7, 2012 22:45:33 GMT 1, Here is outsiders description from their website
Monotype prints: The artist paints directly onto a copper plate which is then used to print two versions: the original monotype which is saturated in paint, and a "ghost print" that presents a softer version of the same image. Artists often hand-paint further on top of their monotypes.
In Xenz case they do a LOT of handfinishing! if anybody is on the fence about picking one of these up - go for it! So nice in the flesh and one of a kind so pretty much an original piece from the artist.
