I interviewed Poesia just recently about his work, his history and we discussed the L'Avenir show too amongst many other topics. Read it here if you've not done so yet...

Thank you, Futurism 2.0 was a show I was part of in London at Blackall Studios curated by Rob Swain but based on Graffuturist artists, it was an amazing show and we had great turnout from the artists and fans. One of the major issues though was the Name, some get confused about our relationship to Futurism, which I would not have used as a title and I also address in my curatorial statement for this show. Unfortunately I am not sure London embraced the abstract work or maybe didn't know about it, sales wise that show didn't do well but had some amazing pieces in it. Its hard to say if London would embrace another show involving Graffuturism, Paris went extremely well as did this last show in SF. I would love to come back to London at the right Space that would understand the direction we are trying to go. I had a blast in London and there are many of the artists based there as well.

Group Exhibition "L'Avenir" at White Walls Gallery , by doyle on Dec 28, 2013 17:03:20 GMT 1, can't believe futurism2 passed me by, thank you for the vid and the link of the opening. That collaboration between Chazme and Robert Proch is very good indeed. It's a shame London didn't embrace this 1st time around but as you said, partly, the title could have mislead some people which you correctly defined in your current show's curatorial statement, that it equally links the past, present and the future.
here's hoping a gallery in London/UK will welcome you a 2nd time, but with your curation. Just from reading some posts on this forum, i see some of the artists are gaining some new fans and a growing appreciation for this type of work, including myself, so thank you for your posts, i enjoy them ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
