STEIN - NORWEGIAN HARDCORE AT GRAFFITI PRINTS THURSDAY 25th, by Someones Brain on Sept 24, 2014 10:27:48 GMT 1,
I'm confused. Which forums are we talking about? PS: I don't know nothing about Norwegian art forums. I have no positive or negative opinion re: the print. I'm just asking questions ...

STEIN - NORWEGIAN HARDCORE AT GRAFFITI PRINTS THURSDAY 25th, by Poster Bob on Sept 24, 2014 10:32:41 GMT 1, Post the links please. I'd like to see the other forums out there besides kunstveggen.
OMG! This surely has to be an insult to Norwegian people?? Horrible image, title doesn't suit it at all. I'm out! Norwegians digging it on their forums. stein is from norway.

STEIN - NORWEGIAN HARDCORE AT GRAFFITI PRINTS THURSDAY 25th, by Deleted on Sept 24, 2014 11:28:05 GMT 1, There are no posts on stein on Kunstveggen. There are actually few posts about Stein on that forum - goo.gl/c9Jx26 - but only one about this cow print... posted by a new member and with no other posts or comments on thread... so that's why some come up with conclusion that there is few or no interest... as for telling erik to go away and calling him a troll... hmmmmmmmeeeuh cow away tooooooo

Conjures up all sorts of things.
Is it a Norwegian cow thief?

STEIN - NORWEGIAN HARDCORE AT GRAFFITI PRINTS THURSDAY 25th, by erik on Sept 24, 2014 11:43:25 GMT 1, I am sure that Stein is a nice guy and talented artist and I hope everyone who likes the print, bag one.
No trolling intended, just trying to answer pressplay's question. As for the comment about Norwegian stencil artists; perhaps I should keep negative thought to myself, but don't think I'm alone in that respect...

STEIN - NORWEGIAN HARDCORE AT GRAFFITI PRINTS THURSDAY 25th, by Happy Shopper on Sept 24, 2014 12:26:06 GMT 1, Why do I get the impression that this Stein fella is similar to Outis... just a copycat, mimicking a popular style to sell prints? Hmmm

Hmmm A lot seem to be mimicking Warhol and making Warhol style screen prints.
and why not jump on the bandwagon if thats what people are spending their money on.
Stencils/pochoirs have been put on walls for decades. It was a cheap form of signmaking in France for cafes and bistros and shops.
I can't see how someone can make stencil art on a wall without a stencil.

All one has to do these days is take well known caracters or images that are in the public mainstream.
Change them a bit or give them a twist and re market them as originals.
Maybe thats why people don't get Norwegian art because the images are originals not re hashes of Disney or comic art etc.
Which says a lot about people who buy plagiarists and re hashers art.
Warhol was the number one plagiarist.
