The pink gums almost look like the overdone red around a clown's mouth.

I've also read it elsewhere on this forum and others. Fun fact, a homicidal clown from a popular video game several years ago by the name of Twisted metal was named Sweet Toof.

Sweet toof @ Pandemic Gallery, by Oski on Jan 17, 2015 0:29:41 GMT 1, Not that familiar with Sweet Toof's work but want to dabble in acquiring an original piece or AP. Called Pandemic yesterday and left a message. No call back. Oh well, plenty of other artists to collect and galleries to buy from.

I think "Blood Thirsty" is damn near a give-away at that price for a large carved, painted original. Really had to fight the urge to pick that guy up when I was there.

Would have been nice to have them get in touch to let me know if they are open tomorrow or Monday so I could swing by to see the pieces in person and pick up something directly

I'm sure Pandemic had plenty of things to sort out for their last day rather than pander to your requests. Classic I had no idea that it closed. All reasons why my initial inquiry with them and a simple response would have addressed. Besides, from a simple logistics standpoint, you'd think they (or anybody) would rather have someone pickup than have to pack and ship a piece.
tigerblood was kind enough to link to their on-line store and I made a couple of purchases. Simple enough without your commentary.

Sweet toof @ Pandemic Gallery, by Oski on Jan 17, 2015 18:44:29 GMT 1, First page is full of people not getting call backs from their own inquiries. Galleries keep lots of inventory from previous shows that do not sell (as evidenced by the number of pieces still available here). As a result, they are typically more than happy to have patrons come in person to view past work because they are actually in the business of selling art, not just while the show is open. Sounds like you've not really dealt with galleries that much and seem to only go during show runs to collect the cards. Not looking for an argument either, but please don't be so patronizing when you have no idea how things work. Cheers.

Sorry but that is a massively rude and patronising post to one of the most solid and helpful members on here.

Sorry but that is a massively rude and patronising post to one of the most solid and helpful members on here. Dungle, my first post in this thread was merely venting my frustration at the lack of communication from the gallery. It it were a bit flippant, I apologize.
Monkyblood linked to the gallery's sales page and gave an opinion about a piece. That is highly helpful, and as a result, I bought a couple of things. If Mikey is, as you claim, "helpful" then why is this his response after?
"Oski this show has been running for weeks. Bit rich that you want to visit after it closed. I'm sure Pandemic had plenty of things to sort out for their last day rather than pander to your requests. Classic "
How is this remotely helpful, and how is his tone at all civil?
I'd like to know if you guys are fans of the gallery or the artist? If you guys are fans of the artist, then you guys should all be concerned at the way the gallery has conducted its sale of Sweet Toof's work: (1) lack of communications to interested buyers and (2) improperly packing artwork that resulted in several damaged prints. #1 is just unprofessional and #2 is just amateur. This all unfortunately reflect poorly for the artist as well.
I let Mikey have the last word "lol". I think we can all just move on now. I'll hopefully receive what I bought from Pandemic without issues. Enjoy your weekend.
