LF. Unsigned Banksy print in mint condition with COA £2-3K, by geminii on Jan 9, 2015 12:56:43 GMT 1, I've got an unsigned Love Rat, Gangsta Rat and Grannies all mint and framed by Art Republic. I'm not looking for an urgent sale but am moving house in next couple of moths and may be persuaded to sell if the price is right. 2-3k is NOT going to tempt me however.

LF. Unsigned Banksy print in mint condition with COA £2-3K, by Deleted on Jan 9, 2015 13:10:53 GMT 1, No way is anyone selling an u/s bomb hugger for £3250 !!! Some of the prices quoted here are just unrealistic in the current market. It gives members a false expectation of being able to pick prints up at a certain price & galleries are actually paying more to buy in stock in some instances There were wanted threads for HC on here before Xmas offering £4k + that didn't even get a reply - £3k ? Surely everyone must realise that's not realistic ?
Oh look one of the hype instigators hard at work
It's alright I don't think anyone noticed

I remember people used to criticise others for being unrealistic with their high prices for Banksy items. Is that still a thing?

I'm just sick of a very small number of people influencing another small but hugely gullible group of people

LF. Unsigned Banksy print in mint condition with COA £2-3K, by geminii on Jan 9, 2015 13:34:31 GMT 1, Never had any problem with anything they did for me and have sold on some of it to others who've also been happy. I'd expect to check anything framed by anybody if I was buying.

I'd expect to check anything framed by anybody if I was buying. I think a more helpful comment re Art Republic would be a large portion of the prints they have sold have been in Nielsen frames without UV glass and often the mounts have not been conservation quality. On top of this many have been taped across the top.
If you do decide to sell I would suggest first if yours are in these frames that you take them out (this is very quick and easy for these frames) and see if tape has been used and whether there is any fading of the image compared to the edge behind the mount.
Even if not selling I would personally do this especially to check if the glass is UV as they will fade in time even if in a darkish room (even UV glass isn't 100%, but it is much better).
