Agent Provocateur, by Agent Provocateur on Aug 19, 2015 16:00:40 GMT 1, met I've thought long and hard on the questions you asked, and the simple answers are; I had a big canvas, a warning against dodgy eyebrow plucking emporiums and I'm interested in anything where a small number of people get to tell a large number of people what to do whether it's right or wrong.
And if that's not detailed enough, I did a series of smaller Maos on canvas and paper last year for my show System Failure called 'To Boldly Go…' (example below).

I also cut and daubed a huge one on the gallery wall for the show (image below), and then never used the stencil again.

As I had a big canvas lying around, and the Mao stencil feeling a bit forlorn having only been used once, I decided to paint the Mao on the canvas. Another reason for this was to try out a couple of different stencil techniques that involved getting more texture in my work… mainly involving a hosepipe.

We'd all like Blackpool's weather to be the same as the Bahamas, unfortunately climate change is not a good thing.
There's a big march thingy this Sunday in London... www.climatejusticejobs.org.uk
Or have a look here to see if there's a march near you this weekend... www.globalclimatemarch.org
