The less popular images seem readily available, Napalm, Toxic Mary seem to be readily available but trying to get someone to sell a GWRB or LIITA appears to getting increasingly difficult and prices rising.

There's an AP HC on Hang Up for 19k so it seems to make some difference. Not much difference to me mind as I'd just be happy if I could afford the unsigned! Think the real bargain in all of this was the signed WSM.

I think it is very hard to compare their assent in price with the Kate originally selling at ยฃ2500 with 50 available (of the original version) compared to ยฃ150 / 150 of the signed GWB. Being his best known iconic piece it is not surprising where is has gone and will continue to go. Would be curious to see an original GWB go at auction now. |
