Lollipop Gallery - 'The Other Summer Exhibition', by Dan Kitchener on Aug 4, 2015 17:57:15 GMT 1, So I have some new original paintings on canvas from my new day time Liquid Lights series, as part of this exciting new group show at Lollipop Gallery in Commercial Road, London
Show opens on Thursday 6th August at 6pm, and runs all the way through to the 27th, some great art including here, including Sweet Toof and many more!

My local gallery, I'll check it out. Btw, it's on Commercial Street not Commercial Road. The two are only 50 metres apart and they confuse a lot of people.

Lollipop Gallery - 'The Other Summer Exhibition', by 11 on Aug 12, 2015 16:52:58 GMT 1, Popped in last week during my 20k trek and really enjoyed the variety of work on show. Dan Kitchener's pieces were really nice - especially the smaller piece in the first picture. The varied range of work and different mediums and styles from the assembled artists made for a really interesting show and brought together a real span of different types and styles of art allowing you to appreciate artists you may not have given too much attention to in the past
It is a great setting for a gallery as well, being a nice large space with some additional partitioned walls and other nooks and crannies to create small intimate areas and little alcoves to find more work tucked away. with a large basement as well, they really managed to pack in an enormous amount of work without it looking over-crowded or the different styles coming in to conflict
Definitely worth a look. Obligatory pictures.....
