Harland Miller Print, Canvas, WANTED, by Deleted on Nov 27, 2016 18:18:41 GMT 1, Think they wanted ยฃ29k it's regular edition. I'm not close enough to the HM market these days to know if that's unrealistic, but hangup has a habit of having bonkers pricing. For context ยฃ29 is what White Cube was recently offering for the last few of the HF edition. Not sure if they have sold out at this point.

Everyone says they are high but they consistently sell the works they acquire. Supply and demand I guess. I have only worked with them 1x and I know I paid a tad more than what was available elsewhere. The work was mint (packed and shipped professionally as well).

There's a LOT of stock on that website, and while some pieces do sell, you need to remember that a large portion of it is consigned work. I wouldn't be shocked to hear that they would post "sold" on a piece that someone withdrew because they sold cheaper offline.

Good point, I didn't think of this but makes sense. Regardless I was happy with my dealings with them and product was as advertised. I have had numerous dealings elsewhere where the product was not as advertised.

There were a few hand finished prints of 'Pipe Down...' made available....Stephen Webster sold one at his show in March last year and I've seen a couple more along the way I bet they are a pretty penny.? There was a auction last week for a Harland Miller 'To Cool To Lose' I think it was from the main edition and had been left back at White Cube so he did a bit of hand embellishing and signed and dated it 1/1, 2016. And then very kindly donated it to 'Alzheimers Society with Cathy & Greg' My father has Alzheimers so i really do dip my hat to you HM and it got a decent price to boot at ยฃ7k and change not sure if there are any other buyers fees etc. When i first saw it i thought yes that will do nicely as it had sat on ยฃ2k for a while and had a day or so to go. I thought i was in the game until about 20min before the finish line... Anyway great gesture and little things really do go a long way... To Cool To Lose

I thought i was in the game until about 20min before the finish line... Anyway great gesture and little things really do go a long way... To Cool To Lose Hey, I was lucky enough to win this. It wasn't from the main edition which sold out some time ago but I believe would have been an Artist's Proof. 1/1 does not refer to the date but No1 from an edition of 1. It is basically another unique hand finished print which, sadly, I haven't been able to collect yet as the oil paint is still wet! So it's I guess, the most recent work Harland has done , pretty fresh! Harland's dad had Alzheimers so it's a cause close to his heart and he knew the guy who was running the auction so was happy to revisit the print and donate it to help raise money. He often seems to donate prints for charity auctions. And the price of ยฃ7001 (the ยฃ1 proved crucial! and there were no other fees, premiums etc on top) whilst not cheap and I was at my limit, is still not too bad a price for a hand finished Miller -I hope, as White Cube have or had a hand finished Too Cool To Lose for ยฃ10,000 ex VAT, so ยฃ12000! I will be curious if the price of their print goes up now due to the tiered pricing? My Aunt who also had Alzheimer's died last year so I was pleased my money ended up going to this great cause.

Harland Miller Print, Canvas, WANTED, by halifax on Jan 3, 2017 19:58:30 GMT 1, yes i have one....anyone steer me on pricing...i have HF AP and not HF Someone on here had a hand finished A/P of Death for , I think, ยฃ12k a couple of months or so ago, roughly the same price as one sold for at Phillips in the Summer/Autumn. However that was then and Harland Miller prices still seem to be on the up. Hope this helps

Harland Miller Print, Canvas, WANTED, by pklong17 on Jan 3, 2017 20:04:38 GMT 1, yes i have one....anyone steer me on pricing...i have HF AP and not HF Someone on here had a hand finished A/P ย of Death for , I think, ยฃ12k a couple of months or so ago, roughly the same price as one sold for at Phillips in the Summer/Autumn. However that was then and Harland Miller prices still seem to be on the up. Hope this helps
I was going to guess along the lines of ยฃ12-13k as well for the AP. Not sure about the regular edition.

Harland Miller Print, Canvas, WANTED, by halifax on Jan 3, 2017 20:26:56 GMT 1, Hey, I was lucky enough to win this. Congrats mate i think you have scored a bargain there. Please post pics when you get it home would love to see it in all its glory..
Thanks. I was very happy to win this, especially for this price seeing as how much hand finished HM's seem to command these days. I had thought these were now beyond me. I was hovering over my keyboard like a hawk as the clock ticked down. A middle aged, slightly overweight hawk, but a hawk nonetheless. I shall certainly try to photograph and upload it but may have to wait as yes, having spoken to the gallery just today, and even two and a half weeks after the auction the gold oil paint is still wet so cannot be moved. Maybe in a week. Can't wait to see it in all its glory either!
