Labour Party , by Reader on Jun 29, 2016 23:08:54 GMT 1, By the way, if anyone is looking for a good alternative and independent news site in the UK, I'd highly recommend The Canary. Puts the BBC and mainstream media to shame. www.thecanary.coThanks. Just taking a look with my boys. Check their values, I'm sure you share many if not all of them Coach.

Labour Party , by Deleted on Jun 30, 2016 15:02:20 GMT 1, I thought Corbyn was bad, but Jesus! Angela Eagle haaaaaaaaa Labour have absolutely no chance in winning an election. How do you feel about Stephen "homosexuality is a disease, it can be cured" Crabb standing as your Conservative PM ? lol.
Slightly limp I imagine!

Labour Party , by Deleted on Jun 30, 2016 17:25:37 GMT 1, If Corbyn wants a far left socialist Labour party. That's his right. He will either get MP's who follow him or who want a middle of the road Labour party that is based on society today.
I doubt that even if Corbyn is the leader at the next election, the Labour party will win power and will probably lose seats.
Has Corbyn made any speech since Brexit stating clearly that Labour inder him will campaign and vote to stay in the EU?
What is his position post Brexit, will he support Brexit now or vote against it.
Nicola Sturgeon, the Scottish leader has clearly stated her intentions.
The Tories have said they will follow through with Brexit but they are very two faced.
What does Labour say?

Labour Party , by Daniel Silk on Jul 1, 2016 11:16:28 GMT 1, With the way things are at the moment in Labour do you think they would want a election this year? So much talk around on TV that maybe remain voters think they can swing things around so we stay in the EU by having an election with some parties promising to remain as part of their campaign. The big question is do the Labour Party think they could win? Or is it more likely that they just lose seats to Lib Dem and UKIP.

Labour Party , by tartarus on Jul 1, 2016 11:28:21 GMT 1, Well, JC has motivated the people way more than any previous politician. And put the fear of god into the people that control our politics who are now utterly freaking out.
Talk is cheap, their actions speak volumes. They are running him down, but clearly scared to death of Corbyn. If he was so disliked and unelectable, there would be no need for the attack campaign. There would be nothing to fear.
I think an early election would be a joy to Labour. Its the Tory party that seem the most frightened of it, hence both bo jo and TM binned the idea off. Im sure they would rather have a mandate, but had decided it wasn't worth the risk as it would explode in their faces.

Labour Party , by Deleted on Jul 1, 2016 11:52:24 GMT 1, I thought the woman storming out of Corbyns meeting a bit orchestrated. I do not believe that Corbyn is anti semitic. He has said some daft things it's true and he hasn't a clue about the barbarity of IS or he chooses to ignore the facts but I think he is naive and just a smost politicians tries to pander for votes and as France did in the past decades mistakenly mistakes Islamic sharia values as similar to far left socialist marxist values.

A lot of his supporters i know are people he has given a reason believe there is some hope in politics. Im not staunch labour either, Corbyn is definitely the reason i have switched back and I'm sure many others. And hey 60,000 new members in a matter of weeks. No denying that is overwhelming support.

Its not going to happen is it. He knows the people want him to stay. Even the Eagle woman is having second thoughts if you ask me. There is no chance at all he will lose a leadership election judging by the mood of the people towards him. Its only those with a vested interest and/or something to lose that are running around claiming he is unelectable etc.

I think it's just people who have and always win vote labour trying to keep Corbyn as leader. Has Corbyn been hijacked. Sometimes it looks like he is surrounded by a cult who do not let him respond to the public. Plus would all Labour party members want Momentum getting hold of the personal details phone numbers etc?
"The main spokesman for Momentum, the controversial far-Left Jeremy Corbyn supporters’ group, was educated at top private schools and grew up in a £7 million Primrose Hill mansion thanks to the proceeds of a huge
alleged fraud.
James Schneider, 28, is the public face of Momentum, which has been repeatedly accused of bullying and threatening Labour moderates and MPs in its campaign for what he calls a “more democratic and equal society”. " www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/Jeremy_Corbyn/12047894/James-Schneider-face-of-Momentum-activists-with-education-and-childhood-home-paid-for-by-fraud.html
The trade unions donated tens of thousands of trade union members money for the elect Corbyn as party leader campaign, so they have a vested interest. It should be illegal for trade union bosses to use union funds this way.

Labour Party , by .dappy on Jul 3, 2016 0:16:54 GMT 1, ... the Labour party has been infiltrated ... just look at the number of SWP banners ' at the last JC support rally ...'they' said 10000 turned up to support him at the microphone, but most commentators put the figure nearer 1500 ... and you do not even need to be a full member of the Labour party to be able to vote for the leader ...
... JC does like 'a cause' and always has done ... it is always about him ... those around him and the hangers on don't won't to loose that ... and want to gain more power themselves ... wake up and smell the coffee ....

It's appalling behaviour. By anyone of any political persuasion. I was pleased and not at all surprised to hear that JC had condemned it and insisted everyone should be treated with dignity. There are idiots and fine people who support both labour and the conservatives. People gloating or sniping over this are making cheap political points.
