Harland Miller Artwork, VALUATION, by Love Is In The Air on Jan 12, 2018 12:22:35 GMT 1, Happiness Small currently at Hang Up Gallery for £13,995.00 so we know it is definitely NOT worth that much at the moment!
Driftwood Gallery has Happiness Small for £11500.
So I would think private sale 9-10k perhaps?

Harland Miller Artwork, VALUATION, by everyoneowes on Jan 23, 2018 23:40:18 GMT 1, On the lowest rung of Harland pretty paper, what would an unsigned Blain Southern exhibition Happiness poster fetch? Love the image and am hoping it fits my budget for a mate's bday present. Any advice gratefully received. Thanks.

Harland Miller Artwork, VALUATION, by burnout3 on Feb 5, 2018 15:43:34 GMT 1, Hi all,
I am considering the sale of my 2 Harland Miller prints. Both were purchased from Ingleby Gallery in 2014, with full provenance. Before I put them up for a private sale, it would be really useful to get some idea on pricing, from those in the know here. Any help would be very much appreciated!
Let's start with the first print -
1. Harland Miller 'Love, A Decisive Blow Against If' screenprint edition of 50 95 x 75 cm print size
Framing spec: Moulding: 20mm face, 30mm depth float mounted with 35mm visible border all around 2/3mm acrylic with UV filter standard white moulding Backing board to match frame 15mm float mounted
The second one (slightly more reluctant to sell this)
2. 'Overcoming Optimism' screenprint edition of 50 138 x 110 cm print size
Framing spec:
Moulding: 25mm face, 55mm depth float mounted with 55mm visible border all around 3mm acrylic with UV filter standard white moulding Backing board to match frame 15mm float mounted
These were both framed by Gary (Mr Frameman - thanks to recommendations on here!), to full conservation standards, with UV acrylic (to keep the weight down on such big prints), and are in excellent condition. At this point, I know of the hand-finished (mine is not) Love print with Maddox at £30k (exc VAT?), and they also have a standard print of Overcoming Optimism for sale at £15k, but I don't know how that translates to private sales. Any ideas at all? Thank so much folks! (ps this is my first post, so apologies for that too. I hope it's ok to ask these questions as a newbie)
Pics of the two attached - Sorry the second one has reflections on it, it's very sunny here today!!

Harland Miller Artwork, VALUATION, by burnout3 on Feb 6, 2018 12:48:20 GMT 1, I'd just like to thank everyone that has contacted me via PM about my two HM prints, it really has helped me to assess the likely values of them both. If I were to sell, I've decided it will only be 'Love, a decisive blow against if' as there seems to be such a large amount of interest in it. I will make my mind up in the next week as to whether to proceed with the sale, and at what price, then I'll post the ad on the forum. If I do go ahead, it would be to help fund my wedding, and also the purchase of a very obscure print that I've had my eye on for 3 years now, got to keep the collection going I will obviously arrange viewings if possible, or videos & photos, and go through the full provenance, especially as I'm so new to the forum!
Thanks again!

Harland Miller Artwork, VALUATION, by msobel3 on Feb 13, 2018 17:13:40 GMT 1, Hello All,
I was hoping that someone here could help me decide what my Harland Miller print is worth. I have been entertaining some offers lately and just want to make sure that I am in the right neighborhood if I do decide to sell.
I have a hand finished HC print of "High on Hope"... More details and the piece itself can be seen at the link below... paddle8.com/work/harland-miller/52147-high-on-hope
If anyone could help me with a ballpark of what it is worth today I would be most appreciative.

HoH is more like £25/30k one sold in the states for £25k 2 months ago. Galleries would be more but that’s them sitting there and not selling.
Other 2 are not far off 5-10k spread on needing to sell and having to buy.

I think you're pretty much on the money there, but there can be a difference as some prints are classed as hand finished, others as heavily hand finished. Some hand finished simply have some pencilled writing in the margins, which I personally don't think it's worth paying much more than a regular print for (although galleries H-U, Maddox etc disagree with me on this! .Heavily hand finished can involve extensive over-painting, writing etc and fetch much higher prices. Your Hope leans more towards the latter I would say

Agree not all hf is the same. Hand Painted is a level above and costs more at source. My value was based on a normal amount of hf and annotation. I’d say there’s 5-10k of scope on top of what I said on all 3. Then add gallery mark up where applicable.

I am actually hoping for a downturn as I would like to pick up some of the HF Ap's. The Large version "Bastards" print may fetch a little more as there are only a couple (2-3) in existence and all unique HF working proofs.

Harland Miller Artwork, VALUATION, by burnout3 on Mar 8, 2018 17:30:27 GMT 1, Just to update everyone on our two HM prints above ('Love, A Decisive Blow Against If' and 'Overcoming Optimism'), we aren't selling as we secured alternative finance for the wedding. There was a large amount of interest, especially for Love, so I just like to thank everyone for the offers and advice on values for both prints, I think we have a firm idea and will be adjusting our insurance accordingly. To give others an idea, Overcoming Optimism will be well into 4 figures, with Love attracting a fairly sizeable premium on that.
If we do change our minds over the coming months, we'll be contacting those who expressed an interest directly, before we post the ad on the boards, but for the moment, they're definitely staying put on our walls
Thanks,
burnout3

Yeah I saw the over-priced Maddox one. Just had an email from another gallery selling theirs at 14.5k framed.

I have had a couple quotes from gallery’s but they seem a bit silly. The Who Care wins is from the smaller size edition. Cheers

Harland Miller Artwork, VALUATION, by h.dupa on Apr 12, 2018 16:47:49 GMT 1, Hello everyone, can somebody please give me an idea of price on a small Who Care Wins and large I'll Never Forget What I Can't Remember. Many thanks. Small who cares wins around 6.5k. There's an AP available for 6.5 + VAT currently. Edit: I misread it.
I got offered a small I'll Never Forget What I Can't Remember.
The thing is. I can't find anything about this edition. Let alone a price.
Anyone?
