New exhibition : Jim Darbu "This Is Forever", by Galleri GEO on Sept 8, 2016 11:30:21 GMT 1,
Hi folks, just wanted to give you a heads up on the upcoming exhibition with the emerging sculptor Jim Darbu. Personally I'm really looking forward to this, so I hope you find this interesting.
"Galleri GEO welcome you to see the latest body of work from Jim Darbu in his upcoming solo exhibition called
"This Is Forever".
In the exhibition "This is forever" the artist will showcase what he sees as a fortunate byproduct of today's entertainment community. In an impatient everyday life we consume and absorb new impulses at a furious pace. How to handle and process these impressions are different from person to person, but Darbu's method has always been to create art. Like a DJ mixing their tracks, he composes sculptures with notes from today's popular culture. The result is displayed in an all-encompassing exhibition consisting of comic-inspired sculptures in various sizes and materials."
