Missed the start of this. Did any one catch the Banksy prices? Also did the Blek "His Masters Voiceless" canvases sell.
Came online just as the Conor Harrington was disappearing off the screen but it looks like it did not sell. Good price for someone should they follow that up.
On a general note I am slightly appalled at the handling of the artworks. Never mind not seeing a single person wearing gloves the way they are throwing the works up for display would be a concern for me if I was a consignee or buyer. Someone just paid 16k Euro+ for a Nick Walker Dip and they plonked the second canvas on top of the first after sliding it across it.
Having bought and had a work damaged at auction I now see why.
Some nice results in there. Cant fathom that those small Bezt pieces are moving for that rate, but thats great news. That swoon coming in above estimate is nice to see, particularly as that piece has made the rounds.
