For me it was dotmasters,leon was painting on the street and I had a quick word , he asked if I was going to the monitor art fair artist preview that night I said no It was invite only. He just said come along and I will pop you on the guest list, had a great night

They even bought us a round at a local bar and sang karaoke with us. Faile are also very nice in person and will talk about anything...CFYW (Cash for your warhol) was also a super nice guy to talk with.

I watched him for about 2 hours as he did the Obey Eye while I hung out with Jon Furlong (his photographer). Once he came down for the day he was such a great guy, he took pictures with me, signed an empty can and hung out for about half an hour just chatting. He was very interested in what pieces of his I had and my thoughts on them.

By the way he also sent me a map with all the details to reach his studio and his mobile phone number, in case.
I stayed with him almost two hours, he showed me his studio and his artworks and advised me choosing the canvas I eventually bought. And we chatted a lot, starting from art and then shifting to politics and European issues. Really a lovely and kind person, with a sincere desire to listen to other people's thought.

So many artists in this scene are very opinionated, but they are the type who can listen also and understand other people's opinions and views.
