This forum is for bashing each others taste in art. And bitcoin is a little off topic fun.

Bitcoin, by lemonte on Jan 29, 2019 20:27:15 GMT 1, I mentioned this a while back when working on this. It should appeal to anyone on here whoโs into crypto and vinyl figures.
We produced a range of vinyl, cryptocurrency themed toys where the provenance is handled on the Ethereum blockchain.
As we use ERC-721, each toy is โdigitally uniqueโ with each having a name, description and 2 traits (Some of which are scarcer than others)

Bitcoin has no value and neither does blockchain

Itโs alright. You win some you lose some. Letโs see what the future holds.

Technology based on blockchain might be worth something but blockchain on it's own is not.
Plus bitcoin price was artificially hiked by banks and others who created a buying rush.

Bitcoin, by Mirus Gallery on Feb 14, 2019 21:52:28 GMT 1, โBitcoin will not survive.โ "Bitcoin is going nowhere."
โBitcoin is a fraud.โ
Those are all quotes from Jamie Dimon, CEO of J.P. Morgan, said in separate appearances or interviews since 2015. Today, he announced J.P. Morgan's own blockchain-based currency, JPM Coin, making it the first major bank to issue a coin.
On the surface, Dimon's sudden bet on cryptocurrency seems like a giant reversal. If you look closer, however, you'll see that JPM Coin is philosophically in lockstep with Dimon's critique of Bitcoinโand may offer a glimpse into blockchain's near-future in finance.
JPM Coin functions very similarly to a stablecoin, a coin that, while powered by blockchain, is tied to an asset like the dollar. Instead of existing independently from state-backed currency, every JPM Coin converts to one U.S. dollar, effectively eliminating the sudden value swings of other cryptocurrencies.
The value proposition of JPM Coin, unlike Bitcoin, isn't rooted in anonymity. JPM Coins real value, at this point, is speed. As Umar Farooq, J.P. Morgan's head of blockchain initiatives, explained to CNBC, the most immediate application for JPM Coin is in international payments. When investors deposit money with J.P. Morgan, they can elect to be issued JPM Coins, which allow them to conduct transactions around the world quicklyโno more waiting on wire transfers.
We're seeing this excitement over stablecoins echoed in the startup world, as well: TrustTokenโa platform that creates tokens connected to assets, like TrueUSD, which trades 1-to-1 with the U.S. dollarโraised $20 million in June 2018. MakerDAOโthe company behind the asset-backed Dai stablecoinโraised $15 million in September 2018. JPM Coin is just the tip of the iceberg for blockchain at J.P. Morgan. As Farooq says, โThe applications are frankly quite endless.โ It signals that the future of blockchain-based currency, at least in the near term, may not be in anonymity or separation from governments. Projects like JPM Coin suggest a future where stablecoins, with the support of governments and major financial institutions, can be the big winners in cryptocurrency.

Brilliant. That's the future of trillions of dollars worth of daily exchange right there.
