Sweettoof, by Deleted on Sept 24, 2017 4:37:39 GMT 1, Just a question to all those out there who have ever purchased a Sweet Toof piece from his BigCartel site.
It may have been at the beginning of the year or at the back of end of last year I cannot remember but I bought a piece from sweet Toof which came with no C.O.A or written proof of purchase, when I wen't to print of the page where the piece was advertised it had gone so I was unable to have proof that way.
I have contacted Mr Toof very politely a number of times to ask if he could provide something for me, either by post or email just in case I ever come to sell the piece so that I can provide proof of purchase and that I can prove to the buyer that the piece is genuine.
Back to my initial question, has anyone had the same problem?
If anyone on here knows Sweet Toof and can sort this out for me that would be fantastic as it appears Mr Toof likes to take the money but does not like to reply to follow up emails, bad form Sir!!
I don't care how well known and thought of you are there is no need for Bad Manners, just saying it as it is.
I have wanted to purchase further pieces but will not do so until I can resolve this as I do not want the same problem with the next piece (I am quite aware that he does not need my business)
Just to add that I have never had this problem with any other artist who I have bought work from

Sweettoof, by Dexter Bulldog on Sept 24, 2017 4:42:41 GMT 1, Sweet toof sells for the same price, if not less than what you paid for it
There is not a secondary market for profiteers. If you like toof you buy toof, you emjoy toof. If you wanna sell it you hope to find a collector that likes your piece
Because these (awesome) pieces don't really rise, you don't need a coa asno ones gonna fake a sweert toof for 120 pounds. Well maybe red rotten rooster

You could screen shot that.
Like DB says, Toof is Toof. I've bought some and sold some. Never had a problem with COA's. Ive never heard of any Fake Toof, unless there is a collab I've not seen. ๐

Sweettoof, by iamzero on Sept 24, 2017 9:15:45 GMT 1, None of my stuff... and I have my fair share, has any COA and why would it? As said before, who's likely to fake it? Having dealt with him on many occasions I have found him to be more than helpful and a true artist that loves people buying his work. The last couple of years have been very hectic for him with moving studios and changing personal circumstances but even through this I've never found him to be rude at all. Great artist with work that always makes me smile.

Sweettoof, by Matt on Sept 24, 2017 9:34:56 GMT 1, When you bought on his site you had an email confirmation. Should be more than enough
And if you no longer have it, as others have said, who the hell would go through the trouble of making a fake Toof, when they are available and affordable direct...
PS : Would echo this who say he is a great chap. Sorted me with a replacement of a piece damaged in the post, and also included a small ruff neck portrait with my name on. He is busy and doesn't answer overnight, but never seen him snob collectors

Sweettoof, by Dibbs 45 on Sept 24, 2017 11:38:57 GMT 1, Just reiterate what others are saying. ST is a good guy and his work doesn't come with COA. I own five or six pieces and all were done with good customer service and communication. If you feel you need to contact him, then do it through Instagram. It took awhile once for some work to come through but he made apologies and all was good in the end. It's not just you but people get too hung up on COAs. Hopefully you will have the purchase receipt from high roller.

Sweettoof, by Deleted on Sept 24, 2017 17:51:36 GMT 1, Firstly I would like to clear up that I am not looking to sell my Toof, I am thinking of 20 years down the line when people may well want to fake his work, most of the art I buy will be passed down to my Boy's and I want to provide as much information with each item as I can for them so when if they decide to sell they will have no problems.
I am not on any social media sites so I cannot contact him that way, I do not doubt he is a great guy but on this occasion he has not been helpful. I have attempted to contact him him using the automated contact thingy on his bigcartel site a few times and the email info@highrollersociety.co.uk, this has not just been a couple of days waiting for a reply I am talking months but I did contact him again five days ago via email so maybe........but I am not confident.
I will try to dig out the old invoice or like someone said an old post on instagram

Sweettoof, by Deleted on Sept 24, 2017 18:10:21 GMT 1, A few artists don't do COAs which is ok I guess. Ryca is one that comes to mind
I used to religiously print off everything to do with a purchase and put it all in a folder for when ever I decide to do something with it. I should start doing it again like a good boy.
I think i paid for Sweettoof bits via PayPal? so should be able to get receipts via that and along with a pic of the what i bought thats as good as a COA right ? :-)

Sweettoof, by iamzero on Sept 24, 2017 21:43:03 GMT 1, I've found that Instagram is usually the best way to get a response. But I will mention again that the last 12 months has been a huge upheaval for him, try again dude.
