Banksy??? Help!, by tecturalist on Sept 28, 2017 12:01:31 GMT 1, No Marks...it is taped / glued to the backboard of a cheap frame. Definitely a naive work of an Artist...making it early in a career.

Banksy??? Help!, by maxamaxa2 on Sept 28, 2017 12:18:21 GMT 1, So, you know this brilliant piece of art is by Banksy.. or at least someone very talented and for sure important! Because you found it on a flee market in Canada and directly saw that it would make you rich and famous, cant be wrong there for sure!
On a serious note: Your expectations are a bit too ambitious and I would say the listing is close to dubious. There is no indications at all to assume this would be a Banksy. You have three options,
- Keep it and enjoy
- Sell it as it is to someone that likes it. I guess you can take $40-80 unsigned and unknown artist badly framed and moist damaged/yellowed.
- Take it out of the frame and see if its signed on the back

I picked up a silver gelatin print at the Brooklyn Flea a couple years ago, by O. Winston Link (his work in MOMA). Lady was selling a few prints by different photographers that were part of batch she got at estate auction. She was selling the Link for $80 as it was not signed. One night, after a bit of partying, I was reading about Link and it turns out he always signs on back. Took frame apart, print out...and on the back his signature, studio stamp etc. Worth $12,000. You never know...

Banksy??? Help!, by Deleted on Oct 2, 2017 22:24:33 GMT 1, £900 seems like a steal for an original Banksy. I'm annoyed I'm out of wall space.

Banksy??? Help!, by iamzero on Oct 3, 2017 20:48:18 GMT 1, I’ve heard that if you can get an enchanted unicorn to take a piss on a canvas while the full moon shines and Pink Floyd is playing in the distance then at the following equinox Banksy's signature will appear in coloured pencil... but then disappears like the Donut prints.

Banksy??? Help!, by Dibbs 45 on Oct 3, 2017 22:10:37 GMT 1, No Joy yet. Perhaps find out where the next Antiques Roadshow is (English show where the mostly elderly take heirlooms to experts to see if they are worth anything) and stand in the queue in a stately home back garden, and let some eccentric English know all in a bow tie tell you what its not. It could be Outis, though.

I think it would be better suited to an American show like hardcore pawn or pawn stars. They'd get a Banksy expert, then low ball the crap out of it and try and flip it on here for massive money. Oh wait.....

Banksy??? Help!, by ed on Oct 8, 2017 12:07:51 GMT 1, Probably worth pouring petrol over it and lighting it to see if any hidden art is revealed underneath.
I think this is a technique used on BBC 'fake or fortune'...I'd consider submitting it.

Banksy??? Help!, by saint on Oct 9, 2017 16:17:38 GMT 1, ***I 100% Certify this is an Unsigned work of Art by an Unknown Artist... I also found it at a Thrift Store. Specifically: a Good Will. It is a work of art by a famous Urban Genius Prolific or perhaps an Unknown. However, Either Way: it's Brilliant. The Quote Unique. The Genre: 'It's hot right now.'
This ending to the ebay listing is pure marketing genius.

Banksy??? Help!, by .dappy on Oct 9, 2017 16:25:02 GMT 1, ... I would use a circular saw - just to cut off a corner mind, first-time as a test ... to see the multiple layers ...
... if that worked you could then do a clean cut right through the middle (or maybe to one side) to see if there is a hidden piece in amongst the layers ...
