., by Viking Surfer on Nov 4, 2017 4:30:25 GMT 1, I can only imagine the amount of trolling and bs this forum is going to see once the raffle winners are notified. As I previously said before, good luck to all those in the raffle and lets hope the majority all end up in good homes. Personally I regard a good home is where kids are nurtured, thereโs food on the table and everyone is happy. Whether someone chooses to buy or sell a print is personal choice. This place and itโs warped morality system around what is intrinsically a status symbol for a relatively small part of the population is shall we say silly. And yes Iโve been guilty of it too. That's great and a lovely surmise of your interpretation of a good home, I agree in regard to that particular reading of the phrase.
In art terms, my statement was referring to how nice it would be if the majority of the works actually ended up with collectors right from the beginning, rather than those just out to make a quick buck. If 9/10 were actually kept and framed, I think that would be pretty cool.

With influx of the one star members of sneaker crew and old forum members rejoining looking to make a few quid then there is without doubt gonna be a massive fire sale when they get delivered.

They go to great lengths trawling eBay for flippers or have done in the past.

I never said that in my post but why is it such an absurd idea. Firstly they used to have a presence on here and contributed to the forum and secondly they are active in weeding out the wankers just wanting to cash in. Where better place to start than the Banksy forum? This place is full of greedy wankers... Iโm sure youโre a nice guy though and have nothing to worry about.

If I win it will be pride of place in my home and will no way be for sale unless I am homeless๐ฃ

POW is selling an edition of 500 @ ยฃ500/each so thatโs ยฃ250,000.00...not exactly, โnot cashing inโ...but yes, of course, on the secondary market 10 of these could equal ยฃ250,00.00 but you get the point....

I have been lurking here since 2007. I have bought a ton of prints from POW. Mostly back in the day where you could have your pick of Banksy prints. I still have all of them but one that I traded for another Banksy print that I wanted more. I have never won any of the other POW lotteries that have come up. I fail to see in the past at least how any efforts were taken to bypass flippers. I also donโt see that I was given any extra consideration for my past business and/or lack of flipping. This forum creates a lot of wishful thinking. Fact is that itโs all going to come down to luck. Be lucky everyone!

Agree. I'm only ideally speculating, but imagine the sheer brilliance if it is printed on non durable material, or with a non durable ink. All the art fans would be up in arms when they realise their 'definitely going on all the wall' piece is unflippable

Originally produced for the Barely Legal show in 2006. It would have been powder by now.
In the end only very fast flippers would be the winners here.
