The answer is "within 28 days". (I know it might not be what you want to hear, but it's POW you're talking about, and if you've got a signed it'll be worth about ยฃ2000 more than you paid for it, so you can't complain)
Not much point in a we have shipped email as they send Special Delivery in the UK and that means next day before 1:00pm to UK customers.

Even if they email you, as you're in the states the delivery time could be around a week give or take half a week. The best thing is to wait until 2 or 3 days after people post that theirs have arrived and then wait at least another week for the delivery to you.
Just a rule of thumb guestimate.

Banksy Morons Print, by dwight on Apr 7, 2007 2:20:42 GMT 1, I just wish I would get my Monsters print from Feb 5th... Damaged on arrival, returned, confirmed, but not received replacement yet.. Maybe I'll get my monons print and monsters at the same time...hopefully won't get damaged. I wish POW would take some extra care for shipping to the US. Maybe double tube, or put the tube in the box?

Ive had same problems with their shipping - Im in the states. Almost all have "damaged" edges and more than 1 print was badly damaged. Most of the damage is preventable - I mean at least put some tissue to buffer the edges on both ends! If they ship the morons with unprotected edges I'll be incredibly pissed. It sucks that I actually got a morons but its only half of the stress because I have to worry about the poor packaging...

Banksy Morons Print, by pezlow on Apr 7, 2007 6:56:47 GMT 1, I have ordered about 30 prints from POW over the years and a significant number have had nicks and damage to the edges caused by inferior packaging. The free postcard that they have recently been putting in to the tube has, on one occasion, moved about so much in the tube that it has totally knackered the sides of one print I bought. Having said that whenever I return prints to POW they come back very quickly.
The order that I am waiting on from the 18th Feb is also an Eine Monster. I think the delay in these is that Eine sprays them up to order.

My heart bleeds for you having to go through the terrible stress of waiting for your print to arrive. No need to be mean, monkeypuzzle. Although bobbymeachamjr's post may not have been particularly sensitive to those who lost out on a 'Morons' print, it doesn't sound as if he/she was intentionally trying to grate anyone. Given his or her prior experience, I'd be stressed as well. Receiving a print you really like which turns out to be damaged is heartbreaking, and truly annoying when the damage could easily have been avoided with small precautionary measures in the packaging.

Banksy Morons Print, by monkeypuzzle on Apr 7, 2007 14:15:17 GMT 1, anyone using the term
it sucks that I actually got a morons.....
I am sure there are many out there that would happily await the delivery of the print without the undue pressure that bobby is feeling, as has been discussed over the last coupole of days POW are excellent at replacing a print if it arrives damaged. I know people care about their print collections but to think its unfortunate to get a print?

Banksy Morons Print, by ricosg11 on Apr 7, 2007 14:19:20 GMT 1, Ive had almost all the prints they sent me come damaged. Same reasons as stated above. Yes, they are great about replacing them quickly but the shipping costs to send em back add up quick. Especially when its because of their own ignorance and or laziness.

Be fair, monkeypuzzle. Agreed that it was a poor choice of words by bobbymeachamjr, but we all know what he or she really meant to say. Something to the effect of "It would suck if I spent all those hours pressing F5 and finally managed to get a 'Morons', only for it to turn up damaged a few weeks later because the packaging was shit."

Hungrig, it wasnt ment to be mean, there are enough folk here moaning about not getting a print, things are pretty poor when we need to show sympathy to those who did get a prints also.

Indeed, POW will replace the print. The company is great in that respect.
However, returning a print in order to receive a replacement is time-consuming, it means a trip to the post office (which can be a real hassle for people with day jobs), and it also requires spending more cash to send the print back in the first place (costly, especially from abroad).
The point some people have already made is that more effort with the packaging would be far more efficient. It would greatly reduce the need for POW's excellent after-sales service. A win-win situation for everyone.

Banksy Morons Print, by ricosg11 on Apr 7, 2007 15:16:16 GMT 1, coming to the US they slide around in the tube and the edges always slam against the ends, really scuffing them up. Something that would be simply fixed with a piece of f'in craft paper thats BIGGER than the print. $20USD everytime to ship it back. I dont know another print seller that ships like POW.

Banksy Morons Print, by monkeypuzzle on Apr 7, 2007 15:25:39 GMT 1, If , as you say, its happeneing on a regular occurrence, maybe you should contact POW with each order and ask them to beef up the packing for your prints. I have never had a problem with POWs packing and dont know many who have, going to show its adequate for the UK postal system, if there are problems with shipping farther afeild it would perhaps be prudent and address this from source rather than waiting for your prints to arive, send them back and get them shipped again.

fair point. and it'd be a service to notify them of this problem for anyone else getting prints sent abroad.

Banksy Morons Print, by hungrig on Apr 7, 2007 15:38:02 GMT 1, Prints wrapped in acid-free tissue paper which is then taped down in the middle of the tube would normally prevent any movement whilst the print was in transit. This would eliminate or greatly reduce the risk of the print crashing against the ends of the tube and denting/creasing the edges and corners.
Another good method would be to stick tissue paper at both ends of the tube to act as a buffer against any movement of the print while it is in the post.
However, the above solutions would require that POW spend more time with its packaging. It may be that POW has already considered these options and decided that, on the whole, less time and effort is spent dealing with the damaged prints that are returned under the current system.
