9ft. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure I’ve had my pants pulled fully down.

What is an acceptable amount to spend on a Christmas tree?, by Dexter Bulldog on Dec 4, 2017 23:06:05 GMT 1, I just got quoted 150 bucks for a 6-7 foot tree here in New York. I asked how much and he goes let's pull out the price list and see and whips out his phone with hand scribbled prices on a sheet. The guy does nothing but sell xmas trees all day, I'm sure he can remember the rates. I got the sucker list it seems. I'll bet on his phone he has 3 "lists". Needless to say I passed. "But this is Fran off the truck from this place and that place premium trees blah blah".
I agree a real tree is the way to go but that's nostalgia from when I was young. At some point this has to be a huge environmental waste the whole practice and maybe we switch to a fake. Hard to uphold the ideals as a real tree is what we associate with xmas but it really is a waste.

What is an acceptable amount to spend on a Christmas tree?, by davidokaw2017 on Dec 4, 2017 23:19:50 GMT 1, I have one with roots that came in a pot. After Xmas I stick it in the garden and dig it up every year in December. It's thriving and it's free every year. May need to buy bigger digs if it gets too big though. Save the trees plant them in a pot or anywhere you can. Stop this needless massacre!!!

What is an acceptable amount to spend on a Christmas tree?, by e3massive on Dec 12, 2017 13:02:08 GMT 1, Real one, then you can throw it away afterwards. Used to have a fake one, but then you need to store it. The missus might buy a real one this year, max £50, it will be a last minute thing so all the needles don’t drop off at home!
Happy Xmas everyone
