I found a few online articles about the street art there, but am looking for insight from anyone who has been there.
Must see pieces, galleries, fun stuff to bring home I won't get elsewhere?

For walking there is some great pieces in the Candelaria district. I never did any tours but I'm sure there's some online or even AirBnb activities. If you make it to Medellin the graffiti in Communa 13 was my favourite and extremely impressive. Have a great trip!

If you want to buy, some artists may let you in their studios so don't hesitate to dm them directly via ig or ask the guys at bogota graffiti tours they have the contacts too. But id say wait till you do the tour before deciding on the works to buy as they ll explain the significance of some of their work with the proper socio-economic climate of Colombia's civil war

If it is still running, I recommend it highly. It is a great way of seeing the city and being introduced to the street art which is in abundance.

I went to Colombia 20 days last year; one of the craziest country so far!
anyway, about Bogota:
prints, stickers, stuff at ROJINEGRO.

They print in the shop. I got some very rare prints and when I was told the price I was like: can't be true, check again.

Very close, SKINNY UNIVERSAL sells paint and cans. they also have prints and stickers.

Tours in La Candelaria have lot of local artists, no big names here but they talks a lot about their social and cultural situation, so it's worth to spending some hours walking around with them. They're usually for free but a tip at the end is always great.

It was closed 5 days straight, always closed. so I knocked the day I was leaving and people living there were so kind to let me go in and take some pictures, there's a lot of nice walls to see.
Very close there's an impressive ERICAILCANE wall.
It's in the red light district, which is off limits during day as well.
don't walk there. just get an Uber, take pics from the car and leave.

Got some great input from a few of you (thanks).
Will be there (Bogota) 28th-7th, with 3rd-5th in Cartagena.
Anything specific going on in that time anyone is aware of?
And for Cartagena (just decided to add this city) anything I shouldn't miss? Shops, art, etc...
