Launch of New Website - uas (urbanartspace) Gallery !! , by hippychick on Mar 9, 2019 2:20:03 GMT 1, To the winners announced a couple of months ago on 7 January — Dive Jedi , hippychick , MonkeyDust — was there ever any follow-up with your prizes? Nothing apart from the email on 7th Jan informing me that I had won, asking for my address (which I confirmed) and asking for a “shout on Urban Art Association". I was waiting to have the prize in hand for that. To be fair, I haven't chased anything up so....

I emailed them twice to inform them I hadn't received anything. Since my prize was "Kindly donated by L-13 Light Industrial Workshop" I was thinking there might be a mix up.
But no response at all…..
Not really good advertising.

Sorry to hear this. Even more so because many of the prizes had apparently been donated in good faith by artists and galleries.
__________
Given that clichés by definition are oversimplified, it's also a little disappointing whenever they turn out to be fully accurate. Here, the cliché was the following:
The best predictor of future behaviour is relevant past behaviour.
With uas, "relevant past behaviour" was his dishonesty. More specifically, the proactive steps taken by him to deceive other people.
This exchange is just one example:
__________
1. So who is ziggystardust?
Well, he voluntarily disclosed that information about himself on at least two occasions, including in his Queen Vic for-sale thread (viewable in full here):
I am selling an unsigned Banksy Queen Victoria which I purchased from POW from new. I have the emails from POW to prove purchase and provenance. [...]
2. Now, who is uas / Urban Art Space?
This happens to be publicly-available information, because he is both the Director and Secretary of a limited company called Urban Art Space Ltd:
As it turns out, we’re in the presence of the same person. Someone having an online conversation with himself — i.e. attempting to fool others into thinking that two usernames = two different people.
[Note also the reference to "Occupation: Solicitor". A dishonest lawyer. Is it even possible for the clichés to get any more tiresome?]
__________
But none of this should come as a real surprise.
Those who've accessed the forum for the last couple of years will remember that uas / ziggystardust is also funkybuddha. And frisky as well. It must be difficult for him to keep track of it all.
A convenient historical recap of his multiple forum identities can be found here (see the helpful July 2018 post by .dappy).
Members may also recall this was the liar who previously tried to offload a book (a.k.a. “a unique piece of urban art history”). In a tone of righteous indignation, he had insisted to all of us that it “was signed by Banksy in front of me”.

It would not surprise me if the artists and galleries did not donate these pieces at all.
If he's this fukced up to be having conversations with himself, that would be a small step....
For all I know he is RRR as well.....

Ironically enough he hates cheaters….

Launch of New Website - uas (urbanartspace) Gallery !! , by Dive Jedi on Aug 13, 2019 15:20:00 GMT 1, Well, this is great!
Just received a message from UAS that one of my paintings have been sold. How about that!?
If I would be so kind to send it to Spain. And when the buyer has confirmed receipt I will receive payment.
Yeah, right....
Never received that print from the giveaway. Can't even access my account on that website. No mention of shipping costs.
