Dale Grimshaw New Exhibition and Print Release, by Dibbs 45 on Apr 13, 2019 9:38:15 GMT 1, I love Dales work. The man has great skill and even boarders on that hyperealist skill, yet I can't get on with these images. I understand he is highlighting the plight of threatened communities in papa new Guinea and good for him. And clearly this art reflects the diverse images amoungst these indigenous groups.
However its seems these portraits are becoming his signature pieces. I'm sure this will be a great show and if you like these images their is some great art to be had. Dales stuff has always had themes and symbolism underlying his art and i remember some his great work at signal gallery.
