Original works from new artists??, by met on Jul 30, 2019 3:10:52 GMT 1, There are many artists whose work is very well priced. However your taste may differ from mine. I would suggest moving away from considering whether they have had sell out prints. Many artists simply don’t produce prints, or they are very much secondary to what they do. Here’s a few suggestions from my own collection Mikel Del Rio [...] Kelly Blevins (son’s collection) [...] Case [...] Ian Hodgson [...] All of these originals were reasonably priced. All bought direct from the artist, save the Case that was bought at auction (his secondary prices are ridiculously cheap). If any peak your interest, feel free to get in touch and I’ll be happy to help in any way I can.
Forgive my pedantry in highlighting a typo.
I'm allowing myself to indulge because this isn't a run-of-the-mill error attributable solely to carelessness or ignorance — as is the case when we confuse "your" and "you're".
The misspelling of "pique" is more interesting since, in the above context, there is in fact a logic to using the verb form of "peak" (i.e. to reach the highest point).*
A similar situation exists when we mistakenly but quite understandably write "free reign", rather than "free rein" (the latter alluding of course to horse riding).*

Thank you met. I’m always happy to learn.

Irregardless, I for all intensive purposes appreciate that you are at the forum's beckon call to provide well considered and informative commentary.

That turned out to be a fun rollercoaster ride.
From initial nervous twitch to chuckling aloud. And all within the few seconds it took me to read your post.
