Price on the mini canvas shocking. The rest made sense to me aside from the Liberty set.
The old fans in here like me were always seeking out Diva to complete the set, but amongst new collectors I don’t think it will have the same desirability as Lovers or Sleeping baby until people try to get “the whole set” of Stik prints. Same goes for Walk.
I love Diva.
Why shocking ( the mini canvas ) ? I git 3. Sold to an Australian collector for ... well For me the 2 most beautiful Stik prints are Single mum and lovers.

Absolutely, single mum up there with lovers too. It’s a matter of taste, but I’d never swap one of his full size screen prints for these hand held sized edition originals. Cute and all just scale matters when it comes to value.

Yeah, apparantly he does.....
Signed up for releases or new work. Not for a f#cking auction calender.
Not funny.
Usually they sell for a good cause, so I guess he wants to bring as much attention to it as possible….
He's quite literally obsessed with his results. I assume it's the only thing he cares about at this point, every post has to do with something headed to auction.

And seems to always be Christies... almost like he has a deal going with them.
(I think these are mostly charity auctions, which is good, but it still feels slightly odd that he controls his prices and sales in the way he does)

Stik at Christie’s Sep 18 2019, by Poster Bob on Nov 21, 2019 17:52:48 GMT 1, A rather low £56,250 (BP incl.) for the Sotheby's canvas. His works on canvas remain horribly undervalued.

Stik at Christie’s Sep 18 2019, by Unica on Nov 22, 2019 12:20:52 GMT 1, Love his work, simple, yet powerfully emotive. Shame he doesn't release more prints or originals. Just very difficult to find much of his art to buy, I'm not surprised his prices have risen rapidly the last couple of years.

etched • I will take that interpolation ....We can stop clutching the pearls now !!
tullyart • yes this peice is still available - will take a reasonble offer ?
reg • Would love to know what comes first though, the canvas or the idea. He could have waited years for a canvas like this to appear.
reg • Think you're joining too many dots tbh. More likely a stoneage man using 21st century methods to put back the damage done by the modern custodians of the planet.
Jeezuz Jones Snr • I created a thread called 'Art market current prices'? Can anyone see it? I can only see it when logged in. Silky deleted it?
reg • Oh deary deary me. This poor landlord really doesn't know what they're doing do they? That frame has already compromised the image, I feel for them, in a way because everything about this has been hamfisted and delayed.
reg • Took a long time imo. Should've been fenced off on Monday, still no perspex over the main image. Idiot landlord.
arttrooper • Looking for older Faile prints anyone selling at good prices
