Sounds like a great place to talk about your passions with like-minded individuals. I assume flipping happens a lot less on there too.

But everyone can make their own adult decision to buy something or not buy something without the need for a hundred other randoms registering their opinions on someoneโs sale. Kind of like eBay I guess. If it sells it sells. If it doesnโt it doesnโt. What really else is there to say?

You donโt know why people are selling- auction houses know sales from collectors are death, divorce, taxes and thereโs everything in between including the pandemic/hustle (still annoyed with the immediate flip like wit h the fairey works but talked about that somewhere else on here).
I raised money to try to have a startup like this back in the day but I think the timing was too early. I canโt believe someone is trying to take this forum, which is still a relatively fragile and an amazing disruptive tech concept, and fucking with it by ultimately having collectors be less open with giving and providing info about artwork in general and and also sales ultimately which close avenues to collectors to sell a work. Sorry for the rant lol.
