EA News: eskay101 canvases and BAM now available, by gilsteph on Jun 14, 2008 14:39:25 GMT 1, Ha ha. You need more of this!
"Constructive criticism is a compassionate attitude towards the person qualified for criticism. Having higher experience, gifts, respect, knowledge in specific field and being able to verbally convince at the same time, this person is intending to uplift the other person materially, morally, emotionally or spiritually."
So I will say I really like the "butterfly effect" image. Its a nice mixup. For me, I just think the womans face needs more detail or definition. But nice. Anyone thats working hard and improving should be applauded IMO. So good luck and dont feel hurt!!! ;D

Mishto! is indeed very nice, the background itself is a work of art with layer upon layer of washes to achieve the desired look

believe me mate, i can take constuctive criticism, but i didnt find the Alevel comment rather constuctive, lol
and another thing ...my canvases dont seem to come across well in photos, as the face has lots of definition and depth . but in the photos it just looks flat. there are some close up shots on my flickrpage
as mike said to me the other day "you work needs to be seen in the flesh"

Could have been a whole lot worse, I could have said it was all a bit GCSE for me.
I was just being honest.

I may well be mistaken, but I think she's presented as a mummified monster, coming to get you. The ticket in her hand is her weapon. That's what I made of it anyway. Why the yellow? Probably just to catch the eye. I know Mike will correct me if I've missed the point.

EA News: eskay101 canvases and BAM now available, by Harveyn on Jun 16, 2008 7:35:01 GMT 1, Love the Mishto & Syndrome Eskay.
The BAM piece is really cool and it will be interesting to see how this translates to canvas. The photograph from the day the piece hit the street is just a classic (I do hope we never find out that this was staged).
Jef the only reason I can think of the need for yellow other than the comment by HC is the association with double yellow lines.
