Laz interview - The Art Paper, by Winter on Apr 23, 2009 21:52:43 GMT 1, I think JR is a seriously talented artist. If the flip helps to raise his profile and gets him recognition that can only be a good thing
Awesome pic on his website today

Laz interview - The Art Paper, by cashman on Apr 23, 2009 21:59:12 GMT 1, Im not denying he has talent, I deffinatly dont think that a flip gets the right kind of recognition though, imo the art should do the talking and not auction results

If there managed well they will be ok, if there ego is not to big they will be ok otherwise there gonna dissapear.
Not saying its right and thats what always happens to every one
but if banksy stuff was still sold for 400 quid i dont think he would be the world wide phenominon he is

Completely agree, although in the same 12 month period a lot of artists will have there career ruined

i dont think an artists' career can be ruined in twelve months - a artist's body of work is not defined in that time period neither is their career -

Laz interview - The Art Paper, by junkieart on Apr 23, 2009 23:12:50 GMT 1, Cheers for the link, I did think he was a tosser, not really sure why but felt Laz galleries were a bit elitist (I've not been to be fair) after reading a few comments on here and emailing a few times regarding questions about my older Banksys and no reply, thats how they appeared to me, but if he welcomes snotty kids then I should pay a visit! However in the recent discussion I've always found Acoris (Andipa) to be very welcoming even just for a look! anyone go tonight? Cheers JA
