Even Banksy needs to keep the brand in the public consciousness (by which I mean beyond just the confines of this exalted forum (or the anoraks as the OP would say)). Assuming for the sake of argument that he doesn't care one bit about the commercial side and his art's all about the message, that message still has more impact if you reach a bigger audience. The prints help do that.
Can't see it happening.

I know i can't afford to pay ยฃ1500+ for a 2nd own'd print and at the moment i'd struggle to find the ยฃ500 for a Glazed print, but i will pull the money from somewhere..
