What Happened to Ian Francis?, by br1stol on Apr 6, 2008 20:55:49 GMT 1, I recently bought a Dondi print from Baurman Gallery in the US - they sent the print out in similar flat packaging with cardboard protectors and 5mm hardboard on each side. All that and a strong thick card envolope = indestructable packaging. I assume very similar to the BlkMrkt method...
Although Baurman charged me $50.
Why BlkMrkt charge so much extra - when it can obviously be done for so much cheaper - is beyond me. It was the primary reason why i didn't buy the Francis Piano print a few months back...
