Banksy • Sleazenation + Banksy Stencils , by met on Jun 6, 2021 2:46:00 GMT 1, RAREST ORIGINAL BANKSY STENCIL FOR SALE Banksy Stencil at Sleazenation, a collaboration with Adidas they got a bunch of emerging urban artists to create work around sport.
The SN team insisted on a late addition from a little known up and comer from Bristol. I don’t think I’ve seen one of these floating around, very often.
The stencil itself is of an angel with adidas trainers on [...] Absolute MINT condition A truly collectors item after 34 years of collecting I easily understand when somebody's a loser/hater or even bully(or think so) point is that to raise and question all these b**lshit I only understand how bad he wishes to own such a beautiful, rare, piece of modern art. all the other is words words words especially the silliness about the mag. the way I keep or store, or everybody else, his valuables. I think I'm bored Very surprising. They don’t appear often. Especially in this MINT condition? Can I say never?
When referencing the condition of collectibles printed on paper (art prints, magazines, postcards, baseball cards, etc.), "mint" has a clear and specific meaning — i.e. items that are in undamaged, as-issued, new condition.
"Mint" is an absolute term, not a relative one. It shouldn't be misused as a definition.
Given your 34 years' experience, and earlier criticism of another member you described as having "little or even ZERO knowledge of collecting"*, what I've stated will be very old news. You'll also be aware of how important it is for sellers to use accurate, non-misleading descriptions of the condition of their sale items.
Are the punched out details loose from the sheet? What I mean is that in the two first pics they are taken out and in the two following pics they are “in place” on the rest of the sheet. They were attached from new and wasn’t delivered as loose paper bits so I guess you have removed them, but kept them. [...] [...]
hnkpnk previously addressed the fact this Sleazenation stencil originally came as a single perforated sheet.
bankygr — Your own stencil was at some point detached along its perforations, presumably by your hands. The moment this occurred is the same moment it ceased to be as-issued, and therefore ceased to be in mint condition.
__________
I also have the magazine among thousands others as I collect music, lifestyle and comic mags since 1981
Assuming you do indeed still have the Sleazenation magazine, my recommendation would be to sell it at the same time. Is there some reason not to?
Although it's already been mentioned, the stencil will appeal especially to Banksy completists*. And any true completist will naturally also want the magazine that originally accompanied the stencil.

Banksy • Sleazenation + Banksy Stencils , by Lroy on Jun 6, 2021 9:17:02 GMT 1, A so long thread for a stencil that have to been realized quickly ( that's why Banksy have chosen stencil after painting trains with mates caught by the police ) ... Anyway, I take part of the game, to answer to Met, that is right once again :
I have had a neutral feedback, one day on ebay by a member on here : " Seller said " mint " but it was not etc etc... " For an Eelus, not my cup of tea, signed Don't Panic poster.
I answered by " : buyer must have had a microscope to notice this macroscopic etc etc "
Since this day, I printed this quote in my brain : " Mint, never say Mint .." and I never use this particulary English term.
Met is right ( as when a print is rolled in a tube by a merchant : at the moment, galerist and sellers, another debate, really don't care about the state of a piece of art - I won't show you photos but it's scandalous - nor about shipping protection ) , if you take of the stencil from the magazine, it's not anymore mint.
And the magazine is the part of the stencil or vice versa.
I won't buy, even for 50 quid an incomplet artwork, mint or not.

Incomplete? Basically just called Banksy, told me not to worry, he kept a bunch of magazines in case some stencils will appear. Soon more.

Banksy • Sleazenation + Banksy Stencils , by Daniel Silk on Oct 4, 2022 4:48:16 GMT 1, www.ebay.com/itm/224642063418
From the ebay listing -
For a few months in 2000, a young illustrator – one of Lazarides’ friends from Bristol – would come into the Sleaze office to use the photocopier. “There was a picture agency next door, and he would come in for a few hours at a time and quietly draw.” Turnbull said that he could only use the copier again if he drew a stencil of Busta Rhymes for the next cover of Sleaze. That man was Banksy.
