The London Police - Brothers In Arms - 10th Sept, by artstylee on Sept 8, 2009 16:32:59 GMT 1, I Love the work of the London Police. I was sure that they were doing those back to the future-ish backgrounds w/a computer. Awesome to see that they did it w/rulers by hand. Excellent Work.
I love their work!, but the sassy teaser video is too long & quite "flight of the concord" ish. It's safe to say that (so far) I like their work much more then the randy persona's they're putting out in the vid. Good thing they specialize in art and not comedy.
Hope they put out a print. There stuff is real nice.

The London Police - Brothers In Arms - 10th Sept, by Photoxtc on Sept 9, 2009 0:01:22 GMT 1, I popped in last week and saw the boys working handcuffed to one another... They were in good spirits even after being cuffed together for over 48 hrs at the time... The canvases looked amazing, a good amount of detail has gone into this body of work... Someone asked about a print, they showed me the painting that's going to be the print, really nice!!!

The London Police - Brothers In Arms - 10th Sept, by wizzy on Sept 9, 2009 8:07:51 GMT 1, This might sound stupid Photoxtc but why were they handcuffed together?. TLP characters make me smile just like Bortusk Leers do.

The London Police - Brothers In Arms - 10th Sept, by Photoxtc on Sept 9, 2009 8:57:50 GMT 1, They're doing the whole Hollywood movie theme for the opening and I guess being handcuffed and making a Movie about kind of worked with the show title...
It was pretty interesting watching them work cuffed to one another... They're nuts but two of the nicest guys around...

The London Police - Brothers In Arms - 10th Sept, by m@san on Sept 11, 2009 10:51:03 GMT 1, Was watching 'The Loop' on E4 last night and in the scene where they are back to the Dandy Warhols aftershow. There is a London Police piece on a door/wall in the background.

Grabbed the print though it's amazing. stoked on my purchase. Time to go to the framers.

Which print did you get? I got the 'Who Shares Wins' can't wait - sucks we have to wait a couple of weeks to pick them up.
Shepard Fairey was there, Buff Monster heh, even Ashton Kutcher stopped by apparently... the place was really picking up when I left.
BTW - not sure what framer you go to, but I got my Banksy done by these guys in Echo Park www.downtownframing.com/ - great price/job/service.
