When I asked them for a refund as I hadn't received either the mag or poster, they said they couldn't because the goods had already been shipped. This was over a week ago and I have yet to receive anything.
I have since emailed asking for a date of postage but not heard back from them.
It doesn't reflect well on anyone involved in this fiasco.

they're probably printing the final demanded quantity of mags to order.

BANKSY - Time Out London Magazine , by atomone on Mar 15, 2010 12:46:52 GMT 1, I ordered 2 copies and recieved the posters before the mags, the mags arrived on Saturday and for the same reason as coach I too recieved 4 copies (of the magazine only) maybe for the inconvenience they are either sending double batches as a means of apology or someone at TO has messed up and sent out double orders? Awful service by all accounts!

BANKSY - Time Out London Magazine , by Deleted on Mar 16, 2010 21:52:07 GMT 1, Those that know me will attest that I have the patience of a saint and a very long fuse...
... but enough is enough. Still no magazine or poster here and I'm in Central London, not the Outer Hebrides.
Does anyone have a good contact e-mail address or telephone number for Time Out?

Nothing here either. There's a phone number for them on your order confirmation email. I rang yesterday and they said there had been "problems" but it should be here by Friday...

BANKSY - Time Out London Magazine , by topper007 on Mar 17, 2010 12:25:39 GMT 1, currency, regardless if it is a co-conspirator with debt, is limited edition (and individualy numbered). Thats why people want it. Bit off topic here so sorry everyone else. Currency isn't worth the paper its printed on. Gold is limited, money is an IOU for that gold. There is not enough gold in federal and other reserves to cover all the IOU's And yet more money is printed. So how is it limited? certainly its not limited by the actual gold its representing, or they'd have stopped printing it years ago. People want money, of course, but not because its limited.
Sorry to correct you mate but money hasn't been linked to gold in most countries for some years now. If you're interested, read up on the Bretton Woods agreement of 1944 and the evential adoption of fiat money by most major economies after the ending of the direct convertibility of the USD into gold by Nixon in 1971.

youre right, the only money in circulation at any given time is infact debt owed to the banks, not including interest of course.

BANKSY - Time Out London Magazine , by charlie on Mar 19, 2010 12:00:41 GMT 1, nothing here either - waiting on a 'collectors edition' (which of course has an unknown 'limited edition' status) and a magazine in separate orders...... spoke to the donkeys at TO last week and they assured me it was on its way.......
never again.
at least the money is going to a deserving cause - although when it will get to Haiti is a mystery based on their current ability to ship things.

Your not.
Having questioned them about when these had been sent I was told: 'I can confirm that your order has been despatched, unfortunately I was unable to get the exact date this was sent. However you should receive this by the end of the week at the latest.'
Well, it's the end of the week and nothing has arrived.

BANKSY - Time Out London Magazine , by twinkle on Mar 19, 2010 12:11:10 GMT 1, I contacted the subscriptions people at Time Out. They took my number to pass on to the "publisher" and was told that they would get in touch to let me know what was happening with my order. Of course not a peep out of them. 3 weeks and no sign of magazines or posters is cr@p imo. They are clearly out of their depth in handling this volume.
Or is it Banksy is being slow at signing the posters......
;D

BANKSY - Time Out London Magazine , by Ruggs on Mar 19, 2010 14:49:41 GMT 1, Just reading this page alone shows that its been a monumental fcuk up by Time Out and all because they got too f'ing greedy. They should have stuck with the original 1250 allocation, instead they released thousands more. And it seems like it's been cock up after cock up. That said, I've been very lucky indeed because my poster arrived in decent nick and the magazine arrived a little while later in perfect condition. Worth £15! Nope! But I guess I shouldn't grumble too much. Sorry to all those that are still waiting. I'd be very p***ed off!

I am p***ed off because I have been fobbed off with excuses; despite asking for my money back I have been told that as the 'goods' have been despatched this isn't possible. The fact that I was told this 10 days ago and still not received anything demonstrates that this has been a fcuk up. And mine is not an isolated incident, as reading this thread illustrates.
For me, the mag and poster would have been a souvenir of seeing ETTGS in the Leake Street Cinema, nothing more than that. If it ever arrives I will return it and ask for my money back. Atleast I can then give my money directly to charity, knowing it will atleast have made it as far as the charity concerned.
And I'm afraid Banksy doesn't come out of this too well. This was part of the whole marketing strategy for the film, and brand 'Banksy', but in a desire to increase publicity exclusivity was given to a group that were ill-equipped to deal with demand.
I can forgive POW their mistakes as they are learning as they go along, but this just isn't good enough from an international company such as Time Out.

BANKSY - Time Out London Magazine , by Urban Cowboy on Mar 19, 2010 19:05:54 GMT 1, My magazines arrived earlier in the week and the posters (in pretty much mint condition) arrived yesterday. They are still sending them out.
I have actually started to appreciate the image a little more than I did, I do wish the Time Out logo wasn't so big though.
