I was in Florianopolis last year on honeymoon and in the centre of the island there's a small, very picturesque township, called Lagoa da Conceiรงรฃo. They have these little mosaics and mirrors on the lamposts. Such a small touch, but makes a huge difference to appearance of ugly, old, concrete street lamps and gives a colourful, jovial feel to the place.
