Slick Dude! Screen print, by Agent Provocateur on May 29, 2010 13:41:27 GMT 1, I just posted this in Pure Evil's thread about the BP oil spill and thought it'd be worth posting here as well...
There's also a t-shirt competition to help raise funds 'to protect the Gulf region' here www.creativeallies.com. The direct link the 'Damn the oil spill' competition is www.creativeallies.com/jobs/show/73. This is what they say: Damn the Oil Spill ALLIES: Now you can actually DO SOMETHING about the Deepwater Horizon (Gulf Coast) oil spill. The Deepwater Horizon offshore drilling rig now dumps 210,000 gallons of crude every day into the Gulf of Mexico, harming beaches, wildlife and livelihoods. In response, we're sponsoring a t-shirt design contest, with all profits going to protecting the Gulf region. The t-shirt text and design are totally up to you. We want a design that catches the imagination of people who want to do something about this disaster, and stop future disasters from happening. Vent your anger and frustration with art that calls people to action and keeps the disaster in the public eye. What you say and how you say it is up to you. Submit your designs by June 1. We'll select a winning creation, pay the winning Ally $100, then make the winner's t-shirt design available for sale. All profits will go to the Gulf Restoration Network (GRN) (http://www.healthygulf.org), an organization committed to uniting and empowering people to protect and restore the natural resources of the Gulf Region. One designer can make a donation, but one sucessful design can capture the imagination of the whole world. - I think it's a good idea and any money raised by selling the t-shirts will go to a great cause. Here's my little addition... Just thought it might be worth mentioning. AP
