BIGGEST print release day ever at studiocromie, by twist65 on Nov 9, 2010 0:36:43 GMT 1, yeah each to their own and I'm sure the POW ones look great too, it's the colours and process that edge it for me with this one. But agreed that Vhils' street work is awesome and it's great to see some serious thought put into how his editions reflect this, rather than "oh lets just knock out a 3 colour screenprint and kerching"

BIGGEST print release day ever at studiocromie, by Happy Shopper on Nov 9, 2010 0:59:31 GMT 1, Love the look of the Escif, but I'd love to see a really big print. His street pieces are huge, life-size figures, big flat colours. Why do these small prints?

...I keep reading that his work doesn't translate so well into print, but I have a couple of older ones I love ('Beauty Dies and Fades Away'/'Tudo E Efemero'), amazing colours and lots of depth.
I imagine the POW one does work really well as layered billboard posters on wood, but having missed out on that one I bought the print and I'm really not sure I like it enough to put it on the wall, feels a little one-dimensional.
Like you, I hope he makes more of these unique, low-edition pieces though... very collectable.
