Dran • Exhibit Monkey, by Deleted on Feb 2, 2017 20:58:58 GMT 1, Or, you could just sit her down, talk to her and tell her to not ruin your hobby as I'm pretty sure you let her have her handbags and all the girlystuff she wants? I really never understand the whole 'keeping the wife happy' stuff. Perhaps she should keep you happy as well. single person's thinking. Real life is not as simple. Only I'm not single. And my walls are full of art. More so, my girlfriend of 11 years wasn't into art at all before she met me. But after a lot of talking and looking at stuff, we seem to have found a common ground of things we both like on our walls.
So when your wife or girlfriend says she 'isnt into art', just take her to some galleries, some shows. Show her stuff on the internet (for example, let her look through the 'new works' on hanguppictures or whichever online gallery really, and find out what she does like, mix that with your own taste, and find some common ground. There's just no way she 'isnt into art'. She just doesn't know there's a whole world of stuff out there, and it takes some guidance to make her see that. If it's important to you, it should be important to her as well.
And if, after all that, she's still keen on ruining your hobby, divorce the bitch imo

And that's not a bad thing and to be fair to my lovely wife she has never stopped me from making and addition to my collection. The 5 minutes of grief will be totally short lived.....

And to be fair my collection is very eclectic going from Peter Howson to John Bellany to nick walker to stik to Banksy to Dran to Blek to Pure evil to Eine to Man Ray...... This is the piece that first got me really interested in buying this sort of art. I was always an admirer from a far but never a buyer. Now I'm hooked and really enjoying this 'hobby'. The guy I bought my first piece off pointed me in the direction of someone selling the 'Exhibit' on here and now I own one too! Luckily for me the girlfriend is really supportive and has even taken me to some art shows. She does, however, sometimes shake her head and tut a little when she see's a new purchase back from the framers.

Our taste are sometimes differents. But for Dran, his prints were very welcomed especially this one since we are both animal activists, it represent exactly what we are fighting for.
Got it framed alongside some others and still have one to frame. Not everyone taste I guess but really explicit !

I was here to make a deal on the piece. I received a very fair offer right away so there was nothing left to discuss. I wasn’t going to bid the initial offer against other potential offers. I wanted the print to go to a good member and that’s exactly what happened. End of story. Best of luck.
