London Art Fair Ticket Giveaway, by Agent Provocateur on Jan 19, 2011 19:04:05 GMT 1, Managed to get along last night with Mrs AP, thanks retrome.
On the Peter Blake front there was a Marilyn portrait edition, with diamond dust hair, going for ยฃ1k plus vat (same as the much larger 5ft odd versions). Plus next to them were two Gavin Turk 'Andy Warhol' portaits (red/blue), editions of 150 I think, for ยฃ450 plus vat.
That's if my memory serves me correctly!
Will try and post some photos in a bit...

London Art Fair Ticket Giveaway, by Agent Provocateur on Jan 19, 2011 20:06:19 GMT 1, Me? Great piece!? ;D
Last night started off spectacularly when we bumped into the proprietor of Arch 402 Gallery doing a bit of impromptu pr on the steps... loved the Sweet Toof mobile. I was just about to enlighten Mrs AP who the teeth were by and she rolled her eyes and said 'Sweet Toof of course!'. I give up
This is the Peter Blake 'Diamond Dust Marilyn', think it was released last year... it's an edition of 150, 36cm x 36cm and ยฃ1,200 incl. vat at Paul Stolper.
And here's the star of the show, forget your Hockney's and Hirst's...

London Art Fair Ticket Giveaway, by JKW on Jan 20, 2011 0:11:55 GMT 1, Great fair, so much to see, so little time.
Pulled the trigger on the Sam Taylor-Wood, lovely print good size. Now I keep thinking about that Julianne Moore Testino next to it which IMO was stunning.

London Art Fair Ticket Giveaway, by pezlow on Jan 21, 2011 21:49:52 GMT 1, I went along today. Have to say I do enjoy the London Art Fair immensely. I like the range of work there from Modern British to contemporary, and I like the fact that they have the project rooms.
Lots of highlights but the best for me has to be in the project space where the WW Gallery were having their Art Star Superstore. Such a great idea and some really interesting, and funny stuff for sale. I did treat myself to a small Susie Hamilton from there which at ยฃ180 was an absolute bargain, given that Paul Stolper had a few (admittedly much larger pieces) by her downstairs for thousands of pounds. I'm chuffed to bits to add another Susie Hamilton to my collection, she is one of my favourite artists - I've mentioned her on here before a few times.
Here is what I got:
