USED classic contemporary furniture, by Agent Provocateur on Jan 22, 2009 21:01:11 GMT 1, Nice... would like to see some pics when remodeled, should look amazing! The square day bed (I've never seen before) is my favourite. Can't imagine what you can get up to on that thing The rocking chair is a classic... surprised you're not looking for originals ;D

USED classic contemporary furniture, by dslug on Jan 23, 2009 9:40:13 GMT 1, I think its a mistake to go looking for the items you have mentioned because if you delve a bit deeper there are way better pieces out there for sale that are not only better designed and nicer to look at but will stand you much better as an investment than licensed copies.
Check out names like Milo Baughman,Vladamir Kagan,Florence Knoll,Pierre Cardin,Pace Collection, karl springer and Harvey Probber to name a few.
If you look into these and like what you see then feel free to pm me and I can give you some advice on how and where to buy this stuff at decent prices.

Thanks for the tips, I know Shit about furniture but definitely want originals if they are affordable. A friend just last night said the same thing about investment pieces. I just know the standard classics but would love to learn more about the people who listed. In the meantime I will start my homework. Cheers

no you can get an original herman miller alot cheaper than a new vitra and the vitra are horrid compared. Get a classic black leather with rosewood. And get a USA herman miller version and not a european version. Much nicer and as charles intended : )
