Who bites their lip?, by seidbereit on Nov 17, 2007 1:09:04 GMT 1, I've only posted 10 or 11 times (albeit since about two or three days ago) and I'm already biting mine.
Seems some questions are immediately and seemingly universally deemed not worthy of an answer or even acknowledgement, but I'm sure I'll learn.
One thing puzzles me a little though (which doesn't quite have me chewing my lip but given enough time I'm sure I could get worked up about it to some extent) and that is: why there isn't also a forum up there ^^ for Paul Insect? (not that it would make a great deal of difference if there was one, as there's never really anyone on the other forums on account of them all being on this one)... in fact, while I think about it, I don't think I've heard a single mention of PI in all the stuff I've read here in the past few day; it all seems to be about anyone BUT PI on here... is there a reason for that?
Now I've gone and put a question mark at the end of a sentence again!

Twiglets - mmmmm - and they're good for you too, apparently a hundred weight of Twiglets is the equivalent of eating a 6 yard skip load of Brussel Sprouts nutritonally.
But - I'm not sure I can trust a mans taste in snacks when he adorns his head with such a unusual hairstyle....so lets talk about Frazzles instead.
hmmmm Frazzles.

Who bites their lip?, by a4mnt on Nov 17, 2007 1:15:58 GMT 1, there are lots of artists that don't get discussed on here unless they have a show coming or current, or have a print in the pipeline.
take chloe early. we never discuss her on here. i've mentioned her a few times and then tumbleweed sailed past. she has her own thread on wc.
oh well.

Who bites their lip?, by scavos on Nov 17, 2007 1:18:52 GMT 1, I often bite my lip when in the throws of petit mort (5 ). I believe the breed we know and love as the 'Scottie Dog' died out after eating all the white dog sh1te excreted by the toy poodle breed. Fact: Toy Poodle's are the only breed capable of producing white dog poo but decided against continuing this colourway after deeming it pointless once all the Scottie dogs died. It's a dog eat dog world out there.

D'oh... only glanced at the links at the bottom and assumed they were a repeat of the ones at the top. Cheers.
While I'm on the subject then, can I ask something re: the dead sid print? I have the gold one from Laz and will be getting a silver pow one too soon, but I've since spotted another signed dead sid on ebay (ed of 25, white background like the elvis and jimi ones) which until now I didn't know about (only recently started to gather his prints) and I'm wondering which of these three sid prints (gold/silver/white) is the "important" one to have.
I already have signed elvis and jimi prints so theoretically the white sid would complete a set (albeit not in terms of print number). This question most likely doesn't belong in this thread so I may ask it separately in the close future, but all the same, if anyone reads it now and knows something about it then I'd be grateful if they could pass on some pearls.
Ta muchly.

Nevermind, chances are I was drunk when I posted, what I was trying to get at was that I bite my lip over Chloe Early! What is so good about her? I accept her work is executed well, but it stops there,a woman dives again and again against some sort of architectural background. can you fill me in on this?

Who bites their lip?, by scavos on Nov 17, 2007 1:33:19 GMT 1, I usually bite my lip about this one but what the hey...I hate the way my farts smell when I've eaten dry roasted peanuts, especially KP. They just lose that familiar twang that I know and love.
Honey roasted aren't too bad though.

Who bites their lip?, by a4mnt on Nov 17, 2007 1:34:39 GMT 1, Chloe Early - I just like her stuff. i like the composition and the execution ( a fitting word for her subject matter).
Some stuff I look at and like immediately, some I don't. Thats the extent of my art knowledge. With Chloe Early, I just really like her style. Plus its not easily obtainable which makes it a bit fresher i think.
Night.

There were a set of three 'dead rebels' on sale at Santa's Ghetto last year - Sid, Elvis & Jimi. The signed versions were editions of 25 (Jimi & Sid) and 100 (Elvis). There were unsigned as well.
It was kind of re-released in silver & gold to co-incide with his show at Lazinc this year.

Who bites their lip?, by seidbereit on Nov 17, 2007 1:51:43 GMT 1, Cheers, I'd only seen the signed (and of course come unsigned) Jimi and Elvis ones both of which I since got through ebay, but this is the first time I've seen the white Sid one. Just wondering where his reserve is at (hadn't reaching it last time I looked and he was over 300 quid). What's the white one worth - any idea?
Ta.

Who bites their lip?, by gm on Nov 17, 2007 12:22:21 GMT 1, I don't see the point in biting my lip - why stew over something? Life's too short.
"Coming to London" thread: I didn't bite my lip. However, the person I commented on has deleted their post so that mine makes no sense now, and negged me.
Next time I pull you up on something try entering into a dialogue, maybe defending your point of view, if you think it's defensible, instead of doing the sneaky delete-on-the-quiet thing.
Come on, neg me again now you sad c.u.n.t. It obviously makes you feel better about yourself.
