to be honest i didnt even know Banksy did prints until a few months ago. i was always a huge fan of his street work and i've got 'wall and piece' book and been interested in his work for a long time

I own an unsigned 'rudecopper' and it doesn't look like i'll get to add to that! (especially if POW release the next one in the afternoon again, whilst i'm at work!) Grabbed myself a Dolk to keep me going and am looking at maybe an eelus next.

Fair play though deelish- you may only own the one Banksy print, but it's an absolute gem!

I still hope I get lucky at the next release though, then I would be a happy man.

Baby woke me up early the morning after POW sold them, and there it was an unsigned one still for sale. Could not believe my luck, still can't but it's up on the wall behind me right now

But to be honest, theres not many of the Banksy prints I would want on my livingroom wall.
Dont know why, but probably they just fits better in the streets.
If i got one it would probably go into a Micallef or Neate swap.
Alltho some of the older ones is pretty neat.

I should have picked up on Banksy's stuff when Think Tank & singles came out being a huge Blur fan. Those covers were like nothing else on a record sleeve back then. My money went into my vinyl collection/obsession instead.
I have to say that what Banksy print I do eventually buy would be influenced by Mrs Scavos (as is becoming increasingly apparent) and where I would hang it. It would have been different in my batchelor days but personally I can't imagine Napalm hanging over the fireplace now. BME would be perhaps be my perfect 'Yes I can get away with having my Banksy in pride of place print'. For today at least.

Didn't I see a gallery selling it for ยฃ28k the other day? Could be mistaken but I think I did. I gradually picking up what the 'back catalogue' is worth. Fast moving though isn't it? Seems to be spiralling out of control. Could be because I've not been watching for all that long. Mostly just ebay browsing at Banksy's for the last year - all misty eyed...
