Charlie Hebdo shooting in Paris, by balibob on Jan 9, 2015 10:45:58 GMT 1, I think that the people that are killing most Muslim civilians in their own countries just happen to be Muslims as well.

The Best Film Ever, by balibob on Jan 8, 2015 11:53:25 GMT 1, Hobbit 3 - fantastic. After 6 films legolas finally ran out of arrows and displayed his new anti-gravity technique.
Noah - A load of bollocks and quite good at the same time. Can't work that out myself, but the ark looked like a wooden brick with the floating properties of an anchor, the big bang was explained but compressed into a day, but Ray Winstone was his usually snarly cockney self and stopped you wanting to poke your eyes out by the end.
Meet the Millers - finally got to watch the whole film, really funny.

Everybody okay in paris?, by balibob on Jan 8, 2015 11:37:37 GMT 1, Tragic is the only word I can think of and I feel for the people of Paris and the families of those who have suffered from the actions of these murderous bastards.
I read the Koran 30 years ago, mainly so I could argue with my Iranian mate about religion. He had read a bible for the same purpose, and to be fair we both pretty much disliked most organized faiths. The Koran is as much about peace as the Old Testament is, which means not a lot. Its stone this, smite that and execute them, and bow down before god or we lop off your nadgers.
Now all religions/races in the past have committed terrible atrocities. But that was generally in a different time. We all are, in so many ways, so different from even 50 years ago. The world changes, religions adapt and new morals replace old practices.
Christians, as far as I am aware, are no longer forbidden to wear clothes made of more than 1 fabric, they no longer keep slaves, stone adulteresses, chop hands off thieves, etc. etc. Mainly because the guidelines were written millennia ago and are out of date. Why hasn't Islam followed suit?
Why are the Imam's still preaching the absolute word of the Koran, with no consideration of a changing world. This allows fanatics to commit horrific acts, but cover themselves with the thought that they are following the word of their religion.
This will not stop, which is totally and utterly depressing. I dislike no one based on race, creed, colour or religion, even Arsenal supporters, but totally detest the thought of religion its self.
Please find me an area of the world where all religions are banned and I will move there today. We will find something else to argue about, but won't kill each other because one prays differently to another.

No regrets for police officer who wants to whitewash Banksy, by balibob on Dec 19, 2014 11:08:34 GMT 1, I haven't got a problem with the police targeting those individuals who just like to see their name or tag on as many buildings as possible, but I would hate to think that those artists who are producing absolutely stunning art on buildings around the country are getting actively pursued. Probably the wrong place to air my views on taggers, so please fire away if you feel the need.

Anymore print releases ever?, by balibob on Dec 10, 2014 10:44:02 GMT 1, A friend of a friend(touch nose, nod, nod, wink, wink, say no more, say no more) who knows the man, has heard categorically that there will not be anymore print releases. So I reckon that we should gear up for December 22nd. Form an orderly queue and leave room for the huge Eastern Europeans with their big doggies.

Please help me out with some advice., by balibob on Dec 3, 2014 11:09:23 GMT 1, Yet again I am absolutely amazed by the forbearance of the forum members on here. I got hacked off with an artist who hadn't shipped a piece I had bought after 9 weeks. It wasn't the time frame but the lack of communication that pssed me off, I have no idea how insanely angry I would be if it had gone on a year. The bad taste about the whole thing never left my mouth and I ended up giving it away because I couldn't enjoy looking at it anymore. There can be many reasons for the artwork being delayed, and most people, especially on here are very understanding, but in this age of Facebook, twitter, instagram etc., and everyone accessing emails on their phone, there is absolutely no excuse for bad communication.
Name and shame to stop it continuing and I sincerely hope you all get your artwork or your money back.
