last time I will post these for sale (I swear), by rodgro on Jan 21, 2015 14:37:12 GMT 1, I'm confused at what you're selling. Is there a pic of the screenprint? Poster is pictured but not included? BANKSY piece?

Dolk, Pobel, Whatson, by rodgro on Jan 15, 2015 18:50:48 GMT 1, I think you're just a mean spirited angry person but that's ok, i'll take the high road. To answer your question, no I dont have a "Grafitti Remover" print on my wall. I opted for a Herakut original while down in Miami for Basel. As my collection grows maybe I will one day pick up a "Grafitti Remover" or maybe I won't but what I do know is that for $100 less than you have been asking for months it would have been hanging on my wall and you wouldn't still be trying to sell it. I know you're a smart guy and I don't have to tell you this but here is a little food for thought since you like that saying; if you sell your "Grafitti Remover" to someone for your asking (which I doubt you will as there just isn't that much of a demand for his work right now to command asking so my guess is that you will ultimately sell for less than asking) on the West Coast you will effectively have less money in your pocket at the end of transaction than you would have had from me months ago due to shipping being twice as much to go all the way across the country. Oh, and not to mention the risk of shipping glass all that way. Despite all of that I do wish you the absolute best. You have some beautiful work for sale and I'm sure eventually it will sell.

Dolk, Pobel, Whatson, by rodgro on Jan 15, 2015 18:06:05 GMT 1, Man, you're impossible to reason with. Again, I can't speak for anyone else but it seemed like the suggestion was a sincere one especially after he apologized. I think a few other members including myself saw it the same way. Just take a breath and realize that NO ONE was suggesting that they could buy your pieces any less expensive anywhere else, they were simply suggesting lowering your price to achieve your goal of selling them.....that's it, no more no less. I was just chiming in as a member and trying to be helpful but honestly I wish I could take my initial comment back as this has turned into a big deal and I don't appreciate you attacking me with untruthful comments. For some reason you felt the need to switch your aggression to me. Just don't understand what would prompt you to say I don't have a collection as you don't even know me. Let's agree to disagree and end this. Best of luck with the sales.

Dolk, Pobel, Whatson, by rodgro on Jan 15, 2015 17:37:28 GMT 1, Again man, this all started because a member made a seemingly innocent "suggestion" that you adjust the price after seeing your posts over and over again. I can't speak for anyone else but if something I said offended you than please accept my apology as it was not my intent. I do however think you were way out of line saying negative things about me as they are simply fabricated un truths. Best of luck to you

Dolk, Pobel, Whatson, by rodgro on Jan 15, 2015 17:28:37 GMT 1, Wow, you're an angry guy. I didn't realize that anything I posted was offensive but maybe it was. Since you brought up our interaction let me state THE FACTS: 1. You have Grafitti Remover listed for I believe $1200 or $1250 including shipping to the lower 48. I contacted you and offered you a $1000. You replied with an $1100 offer. I replied $1000 was my max and thanked you for your time if that wasn't acceptable. After seeing your posts for weeks and weeks I once again reached out to say my $1000 offer still stood. I'm not sure about you but a $100 less than offered price is not a low ball offer especially considering we live somewhat near one another and shipping to me would be half as much as someone on the opposite coast. 2. I also mentioned in one of our emails that I would be intersted in trading my framed original SC for your Napolean canvss as you had said you were interested in her work. I did however mention in my email as full disclosure that it might already be sold as I had posted it and had several replies. So my friend, those are the FACTS of our interaction and your claims of low ball offers and multiple offers of my SC are simply fictional.

Dolk, Pobel, Whatson, by rodgro on Jan 15, 2015 16:52:06 GMT 1, This is just a 3rd, 4th or 5th opinion but it sounds like the advice was coming from a "trying to be helpful" place. I'm not sure it's relevant whether he has a substantial collection or not as the simple fact remains; after what seems like weeks and weeks of posts and reposts the pieces haven't sold. I think we all understand that the best materials were used in framing these pieces but as a collector I'm sure you understand it unfortunately doesn't matter what we pay for a print, OG, etc and what it costs to frame, stretch, etc a piece as "current market" and not what we paid for it will determine what it sells for in the secondary market. To be fair the original posts were larger and some pieces have sold but again I think the original advice was coming from a good place. I'm not sure why some members become so aggressive and combative so quickly......just don't get it. I truly love the forum and community of like minded people who frequent it but I honestly can't understand some of the rules and/or attitudes at times. Anyway, just my 2 cents. Carry on gentleman.

Hush | hand finished prints '08-09, by rodgro on Jan 12, 2015 21:52:34 GMT 1, Hi AP. I'm on a fair bit but certainly not a Forum Pro. Have just seen several folks sling his work lately and a couple selling off quite a few pieces at once. Sorry, wish I could help you but I'm not familiar with his older work......all of my pieces are 2010-current. GLWTS

Hush | hand finished prints '08-09, by rodgro on Jan 12, 2015 17:20:18 GMT 1, Seems like everyone is dumping their work by HUSH. Does someone know something I don't? His new work seems to be selling faster than he can produce it and prices have gone through the roof.

Sandra Chevrier Original FS/FT, by rodgro on Nov 20, 2014 17:04:22 GMT 1, Hello all. I'm putting together a little money for the upcoming Herakut show so against my better judgement I've decided to part with this beauty. I purchased it directly from Sandra back in 2011 and framed it immediately and have had it hanging since. It's beautifully framed (think modern white) to museum archival standards. I use OP3 Plexi instead of glass as I have kids. Unfortunately I'm not smart enough to figure out how to post pics but please PM me and I will send immediately. You can also see it on her site in the studies on paper section #23. It's titled "La Cage Bordee De Fleurs". While a sale is ideal I might consider a trade for the right Herakut, Faile, Blek, Etam Cru, Robert Proch or something similar. Thanks.

Eine, Blek Le Rat and more... , by rodgro on Nov 17, 2014 4:55:59 GMT 1, Thanks for clarifying yoyosh. It's as clear as mud now as it sounds like flippers suck but they don't suck if they stand in line for two hours and "who cares if Banksy sells for 100x more" but it's not cool to sell a Blek for double. What??? I think my take away from this is that I shouldn't have asked.

Eine, Blek Le Rat and more... , by rodgro on Nov 17, 2014 0:15:19 GMT 1, I'm confused??? I don't buy and sell much on the forum although I do occasionally. I do however really enjoy the posts, threads and sales but I have to admit that some of the comments confuse me. Maybe I need a forum edicatte lesson. It sounds like it's NOT ok to sell a Blek for double or more shortly after its release. How about a BANKSY? I've never seen one sold here for less than 10-100 times the amount of the original sale but I don't think I've ever seen negative comments about that. How about FAILE or Nick Walker or 100 other IN DEMAND artists?? I'm all for a place that promotes selling for what is originally paid for a print, etc., but this doesn't seem to be that place 99% of the time. Just a thought

For Sale- Hush Unseen I & II, by rodgro on Mar 21, 2013 3:37:38 GMT 1, Nealmason - you might want to hang into these and just buy three sirens outright as these are ALL hand finished whereas both 3 Sirens and Single Siren (other print released with 3 sirebs) is not. I think (just my opinion) is that these will be more valuable than 3 Sirens in the long run

Dress Up - Eelus, by rodgro on Oct 16, 2012 17:44:23 GMT 1, Congrats Gorkie! Just noticed your auction closed at nearly $1300! Great considering you had posted it on the Forum for $600 with no takers. Once again EBay has proved that there are a bunch of people out there with more $$ than brains. Pretty funny considering Eelus will commission an original for that kind of $$. Anyway, congrats again! R
