3D : Massive Attack : Ritual Spirit | Lazarides Editions, by Finsbury on Feb 11, 2016 0:24:07 GMT 1, Brighton gig was incredible, and two songs off the new EP were great live. Without doubt the most political gig I've ever been too closing the gig with shocking images of refugees. Proper lazer light fest too not seen since the death of raves. Did the photos work well at the end? Love the collaboration with Giles Duley and bringing photography into this platform to highlight the plight/story of the refugee crisis. Giles is a top man, if you like his work you can purchase his latest book here, a bargain at ยฃ30! www.ew-agency.com/product/one-second-of-light/ I totally respect Giles Duley and the work he has done. To be totally honest i was disappointed that MA used the gig as an opportunity to show the shocking images we have all seen many times by now. We went to the gig as MA fans and to enjoy the great tunes since we first went to a wild bunch party in the late eighties. The backdrop during the gig was a constant stream of anti brands/war/goverment/crisis lines that were so powerful but also sometimes humorous i.e taking the p*** out of Trump that you just couldn't totally enjoy the music. I really wanted to go onto the Brixton gig after Brighton so i could just enjoy the tunes but i couldn't make it..but i still stand by what i said, the band were incredible amongst the barrage and i'm so glad i didn't miss seeing them.

Jimmy Hill RIP, by Finsbury on Dec 20, 2015 1:06:12 GMT 1, RIP to him but in all honesty diminishing the ยฃ20 salary cap was a terrible move imo hence why many of us are paying obscene amounts to attend matches as well as the many more that have been priced out. I've seen the word 'Legend' mentioned many times, not in my eyes he wasn't.

BANKSY Curated Show "Dismaland" in Weston-super-Mare, by Finsbury on Sept 27, 2015 12:25:16 GMT 1, There are at least 800 to 900 in the walk in Q Ah, let them all in. Last day, what are the Council gonna do? Shut them down? I thought they would stay open later than 1am on Friday, the council don't do a lot in the week let alone the weekend!

BANKSY Curated Show "Dismaland" in Weston-super-Mare, by Finsbury on Sept 25, 2015 10:28:51 GMT 1, Please take lots of pictures of the anvil. I'm dying to know if Shrigley has signed it on the reverse or bottom. Have a great time. Well.... No anvil to bring home i am afraid - but what a night! It was a big gamble taking these kids to an event such as this, but boy did it pay off. They loved it, and any worries i had about "interactions" with the dismal staff were put to rest the second one of them told one of my kids to "get the f***ing smile off their face" as we were walking in" and one kid turned round and said "just like school then" to me! Kids on the Autistic spectrum are not known for their ability to get certain jokes, social situations, innuendo or comedy but they seemed to just open their minds and let it all in. they loved the pocket money loans store and even got Darren to sign a few things. The best bit for me was simply watching their faces when Death came out in his dodgem - priceless As for the Anvil....... We stood there, and they were just happy to throw ping pong balls at the thing - laughing to themselves about how stupid they looked... brilliant If we'd have actually won the thing i don't think it would have had the same effect... so its there for someone to knock off tonight after a few beers! Great to hear they enjoyed it, i hope you got some enjoyment out of it for yourself too, its so easy to live for them, i know as i have an 11 year old with Aspergers. I also took him to DL, he absolutely loved it although his persistence to win a prize took some beating! It did take some time for him to get around the point that the fun was in not winning though! Also the caravan with facts (sorry forgot its proper name) was so interesting for him as that was probably as black & white as it gets facts wise. He also loved the Cauty, eyes were pinging all over the place at that, I'm sure every detail was taken! It was a superb place to take a child with special needs and like i said I'm so glad your children loved it too.

BANKSY Curated Show "Dismaland" in Weston-super-Mare, by Finsbury on Sept 20, 2015 10:44:57 GMT 1, You don't. We've been done like this for an Oasis gig off eBay. The guy scanned ithe tickets it came up as STOP so we were refused entry and he asked us if we bought them from eBay as many sellers just re sell them on many times over. We turned around and came home...seething. When I took this up with him on eBay low and behold I was contacted by other buyers as they had seen my purchase in the history and been refused entry too, about 10 of us in total. We all sent him messages that packed the punch of a twelve bore and we're all refunded thankfully but nevertheless we should have all received more than the tickets for the amount of inconvenience caused. Regarding DL on eBay, I'm not even sure how these are still on there as eBay's ticket sales are only permitted via Stubhub so not sure on any protection? *runs to computer to withdraw the 200 quid he offered last night for tickets after a few beers* Going to the Ally Pally for Oasis from where i live would'nt be half as bad as travelling to WSM with a snide ticket so i know i won't be doing that again either.

They would only be put on stubhub so not sure how much consolation but it would ensure buyers had some protection if they bought from there but it will never guarantee anyone entry.

BANKSY Curated Show "Dismaland" in Weston-super-Mare, by Finsbury on Sept 19, 2015 20:44:24 GMT 1, Mini-rant People buying tickets to then either put on stub hub or sell on here at cost make it so much harder for everyone else to get tickets. At least it's been a consistently dismal experience Currently ยฃ400 a pop on there right now the dirty scalpers..touts have helped me out before for sold out events but always at a fairly reasonable mark up but this is seriously taking the perverbials.
