Invader Artwork, VALUATION, by brut on May 29, 2021 8:18:15 GMT 1, Hi. Can anyone let me know the current valuations on my 2 invader prints. I have an unsigned Albino invader purchased from pow back in 2006 and a signed Alex rubik kubrick which I purchased from Santa's ghetto in 2006 and has the same doodled signature as above. Both prints are in Excellent condition.

Blu 🇮🇹 Bologna Street Art • Print Release • Art For Sale, by brut on Nov 1, 2018 21:32:26 GMT 1, I have one of the edition of 25. I'm sure there is no hand finishing. The colours are a little different unless I am missing something?

idles brutalism ash vinyl, by brut on Oct 25, 2018 21:22:47 GMT 1, There was one for sale on discogs a few months back for £250 but that's long gone. Only 100 made and pretty scarce with a hand made fanzine. I got a copy of the blue vinyl release from last year. Also saw them last week at the forum. A fantastic band loving what they are doing.

POW CLOSING DOWN - SALE ENDS 31ST DECEMBER 2017, by brut on Oct 26, 2017 10:27:33 GMT 1, Hey happy shopper. You think you were a fool. I though the Kate Moss screen prints were way too steep at 1K.

POW CLOSING DOWN - SALE ENDS 31ST DECEMBER 2017, by brut on Oct 26, 2017 8:56:01 GMT 1, I remember a few things about santas ghetto in 2005. There was a huge canvas Banksy canvas displayed that depicted Mary sat on a donkey with Joseph and not being able to get past the wall in Palestine. I think this was purchased by Robbie Williams. I remember there being a great deal more people there than the previous years ghetto which was understandable as this was not long after the crude oils show and Banksys first trip to highlight the monstrous wall in Palestine. These events garnered a fair amount of press coverage. I also remember that it was the last time you could walk in and buy Banksy prints hassle free which I did.

POW CLOSING DOWN - SALE ENDS 31ST DECEMBER 2017, by brut on Oct 20, 2017 19:36:36 GMT 1, Great seeing the old pow pages. I purchased the four faile prints but don't remember seeing the rude Cooper and love is in the air pages. I came across the pow site back in mid 2005 and purchased 10 + banksy prints that I still have. Heady days indeed. I have some old pics of Santa's ghetto on Berwick street in 2005. I will dig them out and post them.

New Adam Neate, Women 2D, by brut on Jul 22, 2017 18:36:28 GMT 1, Why would you need to 'get it back' after buying it? If you like it then you can't go wrong. Do people really only buy if they can get back what they paid? If so then I need to have a look at what I have purchased over the past 13 years!

Invader Albino Print, by brut on May 19, 2017 8:03:02 GMT 1, Its not too big as it is 50 x 50cm. It is a beauty though. I have had mine framed since 2005 but alas I missed the signed ones and settled for the unsigned instead. It also cost me a whopping £50!

Invader gallery prices , by brut on May 6, 2017 12:19:53 GMT 1, I will not be buying any invader prints priced at 5k and above as I simply can't afford it. I am amazed at how much invaders art goes for now and yes I do get a buzz about owning a few of his prints and seeing the value rise which is a little silly as I would not sell them anyway. I have a signed Alex print and a unsigned albino invader which I bought from power over q0 years ago. I know they are not the most sought after but they look nice on my wall.

This was my first print purchase from POW back in 2005 too. The order consisted of the above print a insect orange Frankenstein print (edition of 5) and an unsigned girl with balloon. I am happy to say I still have all 3 of them. This lot cost me a shocking £205!

Eine Hooligan scarf, by brut on Dec 11, 2015 23:44:21 GMT 1, I received my scarf this week and for £15 I was not too sure what to expect quality wise. It is a bargain as it has very vibrant colours and quite thick too. Treat yourself people.

Quality of recent releases, by brut on Oct 12, 2015 14:08:24 GMT 1, Agreed on recent comments. Personally, I think if something sells out almost instantly, it's been priced incorrectly by the artist and/or gallery. brut, the Blu appears to be gone now. I'm surprised it hung around for 8 years. Why people choose to support these fly by night "artists" over genuine work like Blu's is beyond me. In my eyes, he has executed some of the best and most meaningful street work over the last decade. Hey mla. The Blu print is back up on POW's site as they have 2 left. 8 years & still going strong.

Quality of recent releases, by brut on Oct 10, 2015 16:27:38 GMT 1, I purchased my first print over 10 years ago & i seemed to buy quite a few pieces over the 2 years that followed. 2005-2007. I was obviously spoilt for choice as i had time to choose the pieces i liked on pow which included many Banksy pieces. The main problem i find with todays releases is the hype surrounding the 'half decent' releases that are available. This can cause a lot of regretful purchases.
The Stik print i really liked this year but was not lucky enough to get one. The Katrin Fridriks print is beautiful but the sheer size of it meant it was a no go for me as i like to hang what i buy & my walls are near to bursting point. The idea of storing copious amounts of prints in folders has never appealed to me.
Chrissel66 made a good comparison with music as i feel if you have been into the scene for quite a few years you can look at most new releases as being same old rehashed images.
I have purchased 3 prints over the past 2 years which are a Thierry Noir yellow head print from Howard Griffin gallery, and a Victor Ash Astronaut print from Mother Drucker. Both were emotional buys due to my love of Berlin & seeing these pieces on the walls. The other print was CMYK by blu. I was looking at the print on POW for about 3 years & finally decided to buy it last year & was so pleased i did as its beautiful & looks great next to my GWB. I am sure that i will never make a profit on these 3 prints & to be honest i don't care. I have also just noticed that there is only 1 left on POW. It seems it will finally sell out after about 5 years which is mad considering what sells so quickly these days. Buy what you like & you will never go wrong .
