Petition: Add Bäst to top navigation , by Zippy on Mar 1, 2023 19:02:40 GMT 1, Agree 100%.
Or if you don't want to remove anything, add it as a new button and kick down Faile and Parra to the next lines?

I think your Brain might be a bit 'Muddy'? It is showing that it already has had 2 bids (and reserve met) and finishes in 12+ hours.

Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by Zippy on Feb 7, 2023 16:14:13 GMT 1, I am popping in to Heni tomorrow with a forum member to view them (and then go to the pub for hours). So best I go there first whilst still able to hold a phone and point it the right way round.
If anyone wants specific pics from a certain angle or distance, let me know. If a video helps, I can do that but may need assistance uploading it.
A few US forum members have helped me out in the past with viewing pieces for me, so happy to return the favour. I can WhatsApp you / FaceTime from there if you are up?

Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by Zippy on Feb 1, 2023 13:17:03 GMT 1, I presume the clever seller negotiated a minimum / fixed return with the Auction house so they had to pay them a higher amount.

BIG CANVAS' TO GLAZE OR NOT, by Zippy on Jan 20, 2023 12:31:12 GMT 1, Perhaps hang and 'live' with the canvas for a few weeks first?
If it blends in with the colour on your wall then I would recommend a tray frame. In fact, I probably recommend a tray frame anyway. As you mentioned a nice, thin frame that compliments the piece really works well.
You can either get it framed right up to the edge or normally a framer will suggest a small gap as not all canvas's are perfectly straight on all 4 edges. You can then discuss how much space to leave around it as you will need to get a dry cloth or duster in there as they accumulate a lot of dust.
With regards to glazing, I prefer not to as you will get slight reflections and better to see the work in all its glory! If a large piece (you mention over 1mx1m), it will be costly and unnecessary. You can go for a UV perspex so not as heavy but again, is it worth the extra cost to you?
Happy to take to PM to show you examples etc..?

Invader • 3D Little Big Space • Sculpture, by Zippy on Jan 18, 2023 17:17:39 GMT 1, This looks cool, and £18 shipping to UK isn't bad. Looking at the pictures though, the position of the holes for hanging would mean the screws or whatever mount used would still be visible - could the holes be positioned to be behind the body of the sculpture? If so I'd buy. I thought exactly the same. I came to the conclusion that most people will hang them high or place on a shelf so not so worried about the screws visibility?
I wonder if a few of us in the UK want one, we can combine the shipping and then send out from one location?
I will ask them for a price incl delivery for 10, 20 or 50. Once I have the numbers, I will post on here to see who is interested.

Banksy Welcome Mat, by Zippy on Nov 30, 2022 19:00:47 GMT 1, Had a couple of people wanting it posted but would prefer face to face deal £850 or very nearest offer You should not have any issues shipping this as there is nothing delicate that can break. As long as you insure and use a 'signed for' service, you should be fine.

Mike Dring Art-el, by Zippy on Nov 30, 2022 0:15:53 GMT 1, Thanks Slammer for letting us know. Mike was certainly here from the beginning and i believe introduced us to some of the artists we know now ie Dale Marshall. Mike put on the 101 show with Vermin.
Really sad to hear the news. Mike was a lovely guy with a good heart.
Hope all is well with you? Not seen you on here for 5+ years.

Dran giveaway, by Zippy on Oct 21, 2022 21:39:15 GMT 1, Had quite a few PM’s.
To clarify, you need to ‘like’ the post by Sunday 10pm UK time. I will then write up the names on a list and ask Norris McWhirter to pick a random number. If he is unavailable, i will ask his brother Ross. Failure to get either means I will ask someone on here to pick a random number.
It shouldn’t have to be this hard but we have a few anally retentive people on here.

Dran giveaway, by Zippy on Oct 21, 2022 11:08:52 GMT 1, Giving away a Dran flyer from the Brewer Street show. It is small, on quite a thin stock so don't get too excited.
Not sure we can do the old way of 1. 2. 3. Due to the 15 word count, so if not, just 'like' this post and I will pick someone and post it out on Monday if I can be arsed to go to the Post office.
Winner needs to have been a member for more than 5 mins and not have multiple accounts. Will cover postage worldwide but expect to be disappointed when it arrives.
