VIP jacko code, by klyde on Mar 13, 2009 23:07:23 GMT 1, The King of pop, or a perverted retard?
Im not sure.
Taking the girlfriend to see the show in September anyway. Shes a fan. Got a presale code and bought with no problems.
The Wall and Thriller are great albums, the rest of his stuff is rank, and he looks like a utter freak, but heh-ho, will be making the most of it and spending 3 nights in London. Lots I want to see.

Banksy • Nola Print, by klyde on Mar 12, 2009 12:46:01 GMT 1, Yet people still talk about Dora and POW as if they do some sort of amazing service.
Replacing damaged prints that cost hundreds of pounds isnt them doing you a favor.
Its the absolute bare minimum of customer service.
Quite frankly a 3 month wait is a complete piss take. If Banksy needs to sign them, POW should be sorting this out, top priority.
Banksy cant be that hard for them to pin down.
POW are his main source of cash!

Worst Flipper Purchase , by klyde on Feb 15, 2009 8:05:23 GMT 1, Nick Walker - Rataouille I flipped this and after ebay fees and sending it to Germany etc I was £17 down! You live and learn. thanks for admitting that you are one of 'them' - outing yourself to a forum that hates 'them'
I dont see what the big deal is. Just being honest. Its not like I'm a serial flipper! You are kidding yourself if you think it doesnt go on by alot of members here on ocassion. About a quarter of all the rataouille prints were "flipped" so far. It appeared on BRP and someone gave the heads up on here. Within minutes it was sold out.
This site has a section where flipping happens on a mass scale under the guise of "your tades". The amount of Nolas, VLHs, Micallefs that have be sold due to "not making the wall" has been quite shocking.
I thought I could make a few quid quickly so I could get a proper frame (not an cheap ikea one) for a eelus I own and a Micallef remounted.
I learned if you are going to "flip" Nick Walker for some reason his series of paint splattered on famous land marks do ok, his other stuff isnt worth bothering!

Banksy Signed Grannies. £500, by klyde on Feb 14, 2009 18:20:05 GMT 1, I got one at cost price so I sold one at cost! I want to continue this and I wish more people would, It would make buying and selling Banksy prints so much more fun! and morally I feel so much more content.
Why not sell for double and give the profit to charity?
Got to think, did you really need £500 that badly?
Well done though. I suppose!
Fruitcake!

Edition of 100 - £160 Edition of 200 - £160
Both the same apart from the background colour.
Surely a larger edition should cost a little less?? They are basically the same!
Anyway, its just childish text. Yawn.

Bast • Popeye Print, by klyde on Feb 9, 2009 13:30:51 GMT 1, Claims its an edition of 5. The specials on POW were an edition of 8. Odd. Nothing odd. There are: special edition of 5 with varied background. edition of 8 black on black background. and the regular edition of 140. Added: that item is way over priced - even though it looks great.
Ah right, was the edition of 5 sold at the open day? Just it wasnt on the site.
Yes, vastly overpriced!
