I Hate Mondays Postcard, by klyde on Oct 28, 2020 17:16:04 GMT 1, POW would pack random postcards and stickers in the tube when you bought a print. Not every time but I have a few in a drawer somewhere, including I hate Mondays. Also have More seating upstairs. Apparently £250 on ebay now.

Banksy Welcome Mat, by klyde on Oct 19, 2020 14:52:46 GMT 1, Going to buy a plywood board. Paint pewter grey. Attach to the board with wire (I think). It wont damage it in any way.
Will need quite a few hanging points though to keep flat. Fits perfectly on a bit of ceiling that around a 45 degree angle. (stairwell you walk under to get to the kitchen)
It will work. I'm convinced by it. Wife just walked away when I mentioned it.

Banksy Welcome Mat, by klyde on Oct 19, 2020 11:49:11 GMT 1, Not like it matters. The mats sell out immediately when released and the charity gets paid in full. £500 a pop. They will never have a excess of stock sitting there because too many people bought on the secondary market. Ludicrous train of thought. Along with thinking they will be sold forever. They wont. ludicrous train of thought to buy a charity piece from source - lol. How about buying some of the other Love Welcome items so that the charity continues to prosper... Maybe they wont be sold forever, maybe the charity will stop running. maybe Refugees will become a thing of the past. Maybe baby Read my post again.

Banksy Welcome Mat, by klyde on Oct 19, 2020 9:37:47 GMT 1, Just arrived. Very happy with it. Its a great piece. Tags pretty cool. Not sure what to do with that though. I've got a decent spot for it in the hallway. Going to self box frame, no glass. If you're a Banksy fan and thinking about buying secondary you should definitely go for it. You wont be disappointed and these wont be made forever. Anyone else find the last sentence a bit weird Talk me through this.

Banksy Welcome Mat, by klyde on Oct 16, 2020 10:20:10 GMT 1, The GDP giveaway posters are up there in terms of the Marks and Stencil paper bags. Fanboy tat. I just cant get my head round why people would pay so much for it. So you didn’t go to the show and get one then? Nope.

What if someone is lucky enough to find one with blood on it?
Will folk get all giddy about the value?
This threads getting sick.

Folk are taking unlimited far too literally.
Reckon another year or so. Probably end up around 3500. £1.75m raised.
Move on to the next project.

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by klyde on Oct 7, 2020 13:07:29 GMT 1, Not been following this at all until today. I cant believe people are still waiting on products to be sent out. An absolute shambles. I don't think one person who won something has any cause to complain. They were sold an item massively under current value. I bet its been a logistical nightmare for Pest Control to send everything out.
Genuinely, why do you think its been a logistical nightmare??

An absolute shambles. yeah awful isnt it. paying 500 quid and them sending you 100,000 back. shambles. Not saying it wouldn't be a nice problem to have.
But still, hype created, items "won", paid for but not delivered?
The art show is done. Should move on.
Hiding behind the guaranteed a “disappointing retail experience” is just fanboy nonsense.

Banksy Welcome Mat, by klyde on Oct 1, 2020 10:57:50 GMT 1, Got two emails. Could have bought 4 as it allowed purchases of two per order. I bought one for me and one for a friend, a long term Banksy collector who sold his collection a while ago. Feels good to be helping out a good cause. Not sure what I'll do with it. Won't be flipping but I doubt I'll display it. Been an expensive day what with the Nike x Off White and Yeezy drops earlier. Cheers Lord Lucus. Very much appreciated.

New Banksy, Marsh Lane, Barton Hill, Bristol, by klyde on Feb 14, 2020 16:09:45 GMT 1, Fanboys cant get their heads round how 5hite it is so have to find excuses. Its clearly the beginning of the end if he carries on with this art school garbage. Stick to pop up show tat. Bet you would be F5ing if there was a print release thought🤔 Yes.
Id 100% be trying to buy this if it was a print.
And I would 100% be trying to sell it at a later date after the following -
Advertised -
- Never framed. - Stored flat. - Acid free folder. - Smoke and pet free home.
Reason - - Don't have the wall space. - Wife doesn't like it. - Saving up for something special.
Expectation -
- Tens of thousands of pounds.

New Banksy, Marsh Lane, Barton Hill, Bristol, by klyde on Feb 14, 2020 15:05:00 GMT 1, Anyone on this forum who stated categorically that this isn't a Banksy should immediately delete their accounts and leave the internet for a few weeks. What an shameful and embarrassing error of judgment.

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by klyde on Nov 1, 2019 11:36:47 GMT 1, Damn it, I love that drawing. I've tried to follow him/her on insta like three times in the past week but he hasn't accepted. Anyone know what the story is? Heres a little bit of back story for the newer members to this forum. Long ago fragile was a member here he had a contact working at pest control who would feed him information regarding Banksy stunts etc. He would then post them here which the forum members understandably lapped up. This gave him an air of mystery which he quite liked. At the same time he had another profile running (in secret) called Gonefellow. He started to release artworks under the name Gonefellow and then publicly endorsed it with his other account fragile. All the forum members saw this public message between fragile and Gonefellow and wanted to buy his artwork believing it to have a Banksy connection. Working in partenership with him on this venture was Andy from castle gallery who thought with his reputation for selling Banksy works he would add another layer of Banksy speculation to the Gonefellow story. They basically thought they could start a new Banksy with castle gallery being the sole point of purchase. They used a friend of Andy's and longstanding member of here Lonelyfarmer to model for Gonefellows work. Once the venture was up and running all four of the band members closed thier accounts on here and went to live on instagram where they can now be found. Fragile still has to maintain his mystery so he only lets certain people follow him mostly old forum members. Lonely farmer has now gone on to release his own stick men art to bring in a few quid which is surprising seen as they all have this close contact with Banksy I mean they must have collections worth millions? I hope new members enjoy the read and any of our older patrons please feel free to correct me. (appologies for spelling and grammar it's hard to type while sanding paint from cans ooops)
Haha class read. Thanks for posting.
